Do any ladies take DHEA
Hi Dylansmum,
I take this & it definitely helps me. I was below range in a Dhea-s blood test. Have you had your levels checked? As too much of this can cause problems.
My DHEA level was low, and I took DHEA, but it all converted to testosterone, and I was covered in acne! Didn't help me at all.
I’m wondering this, but don’t fancy doing it just by myself. Would prefer to do it under the guidance of a clinician!
Yes! It has been excellent but PLEASE BE AWARE women should take 7-KETO DHEA as this type will not metabolise to oestrogen and testosterone! I was low and started on 7-keto 100mg/day for two weeks and then cut back to 50mg daily. I will claim that it has stabilised my thyroid to optimum levels, lowered my high blood pressure and increased my overall sense of well being!
I have DHEA on prescription and, yes, it helped with menopause symptoms along with oestrogen and progesterone. I have it because taking testosterone directly gives me"'roid rage".
