I’ve been taking both for about a year on the instructions of my Endo.
I’ve noticed and increase infacial hair, can I just take Dhea on it’s own.
I’ve been taking 50mg daily of each.
Thanks 👍

As it's your endo who prescribed both, I think you should be asking your endo rather than the forum.
I have read that you shouldn't take both, anyway. You should definitely ask him - and ask which it would be best to take on its own - DHEA or pregnenolone. It could be that the DHEA is all converting to testosterone - as it often does - and that's what's causing your facial hair.
That is a rather high dose unless you have a special situation. And, if not, it seems it takes about three months to bring up levels to normal. Ask your endo if you can taper the dose or even if you need to continue.
I’ve left Germany now so won’t be seeing that Endo again, I will just ask my GP
Doubt GP has a clue about DHEA
I found it caused increased facial hair (not a good look) Gave it up after that
I think I’m going to stop taking it as well
I ws told by my Endo to reduce my DHEA if I got facial hair, plus acne & greasy skin, so possibly reduce how much you take - I'm on 25mgs DHEA
That's a huge dose for a woman. Acne and facial hair can be side effects of DHEA for some people. Don't really understand why you are taking both in such high doses. I'd ask endo.
Endo is in Germany and I’m back in the UK now
