dhea supplements

Hi.

We had a failed ivf cycle in December, and I will start a new cycle in March/ April… I was trying to help my chance.

Did someone use dhea? Any advice?

I used a low dose of DHEA and thought it would work wonders. Unfortunately I had my worst round out of 3 - that being said it wasn't all down to DHEA. If you do decide to use it make sure you get your levels checked regularly.

I have been taking DHEA since Nov after my first round succeeding but me having a chemical pregnancy. Apparently my egg quality is too low. I started on 25mh and now take 50mg but am paying privately to get my DHEA tested through medichecks as I'm concerned if my levels are too high it will have a negative effect. If you're in the UK medichecks offer the test and you can pay £35 to go somewhere locally to have it done by someone or do it at home x

My GP checked mine for me. It rocketed when I first started it then I had to stop and take 25mg only.

I took it for 3 months and my DHEA levels skyrocketed, way out of range so I was concerned as I’d heard it can have negative impact on egg quality if levels are too high. I also developed black hairs on my chin!
