Severe fatigue and brain fog destroying my life
Hello friends, I have been dealing with these same issues for far too long! Little long, but here goes: Starting when I was 16, I woke up one day and noticed I was a little tired for some odd reason. I have been tired ever since that day. I am currently a 23 year old otherwise healthy male. Not

Health anxiety or something sinister???
Hi there, I just wanted to share my story of the range of symptoms I’ve been experiencing for the past few months and please bear with me as this post will be a long one! Although I haven’t been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, I have been suffering with some really debilitating anxiety since December

Latest update on Jaycee's Rebirth
Jaycee has asked me to pass on her thanks to you all for the wonderful support, prayers and best wishes you have showered her with. She has been trying to log on to this site from her hospital bed, but sadly she keeps on losing the wifi signal, which I understand is notoriously bad at the Royal Free

Periprostatic Fat & ADT
New study below [1]. Periprostatic fat is that which encases the prostate. As with fat stored around other internal organs, visceral fat can be excessive due to elevated triglycerides (caused by glucose spikes & insulin resistance.) Periprostatic fat is not an innocent energy store, it is hormonally

Steroid taper when ending Zytiga
I am coming off ADT. Last Lupron injection is wearing off. I will stop the Zytiga soon as well. I am trying to skip the 4 hour drive to MSK for an appt to have labs done and setup a steroid taper. I assume the taper is just a new schedule that reduces my dosage over time. Thought i could handle that

Fix: Glucose, acetyl-CoA, Thiamine, cholinergics, Parkinson's, acetylcholine
Primary and secondary thiamine deficits disturb cholinergic transmission in the brain, impairing the cognitive and motor functions in affected individuals (Gibson et al., 1982; Butterworth, 2009; Jankowska-Kulawy et al., 2010). Thiamine-deficient rats displayed inhibition of ACh synthesis and release

Gastroperisis
Hi there. New member. My husband is dealing with wavering between stage 4 and 5 (numbers are always different) so if I’m in the wrong group please point me in the right direction! Along with this he is type 1 and has had silent heart attacks. Currently his biggest hurdle seems to be dealing with gastroperisis

Hello Everyone I was determined to run over 10K again yesterday and mapped out my route as usual beforehand, I use this website which some of you may know of, it is very good and free! https://gb.mapometer.com/ It was a tough route with 2 long steep hills but I coped with them well and reached about

Just what does any endocrinologist really know about hormones? Do they even know of the existence of half of them? No, of course I am not saying that they should know about things that have not been discovered. But they just might accept that:

Amenorrhea over 2.5 years
Hello. I'm posting here on behalf of my almost 18 year old daughter. She started menstruating two days before her 12th birthday. She has pretty much only had a couple hard periods in her life, otherwise, a light bleeder. She started running cross country and track for her middle and then high school
