End of the road?
I seem to have reached the end of the road with my endo. At my appointment today she refused to increase my T3 to a higher dose because the TSH is so suppressed, she was willing to increase the Thyroxine but I would have to decrease the T3 then. She goes by TSH alone, still thinks the pituitary is saying

Saliva/ Cortisol results
Hi I posted this a few weeks ago but didn't get a reply. Currently on low dose Levo (25/50mcg alternate days). Took this test at end of April last year. Really stuggling with insomnia, with adrenaline surges but my night time cortisol already looks low. Have tried the low glucose snack - but that didn't

Body composition & Docetaxel (Taxotere)
New study below. Actually from 2016, but PubMed presumably wasn't carrying the "Clinical Nutrition ESPEN" journal back then. (Anyone ever see a copy? LOL) It's mostly an Irish study with one Canadian. A note on BMI & visceral fat: BMI is a low-tech estimate of visceral fat. All you need is weight

How to manage blood sugar during illness and infection
It is very common to see that blood sugar rises during illness and infection. This rise in blood sugar is difficult to control. Why?
Some reasons:
1.)
The body releases extra glucose in circulation, during illness or infection. This can lead to rise in blood sugar.
2.)
The hormones

I'm new here but definitely not new to being overweight. I'm really good at starting diets and never sticking to them and I'd really appreciate some support, help and advice. I've just been diagnosed with Impaired Glucose Tolerance and I desperately need to lose weight, exercise more and do what it takes
