Did laproscopy/mirena coil help your pain?
Hi all I’m about 8 weeks post diagnosis / first excision (laser) and had mirena coil fitted. Wondering if excision or the mirena has helped anyone else feel relief from pain? So far, it made my pain SO much worse following the surgery and only now has it calmed down to about the same level / frequency

2 coils in uterus
Dear all, because they found out today I have a bicournuate uterus they wanted to put 2 coils in after they remove my endometrioma. I dont want the coil so they are not doing that thankfully. Has anyone had 2 coils in at once due to the same reason?

Periods on an iud
Hi everyone, I had a Hormonal iud fitted a couple of months ago and I haven’t really had a period since then, until now. I have had occasional spotting since having it fitted but nothing I would identify as a period. I believe I’m having a period now but it’s concerning me a bit. It’s extremely painful

Inactive endo?!
Hi, I'm new to the group so please bear with me. I was diagnosed with Endo following heavy painful periods and multiple admissions for appendicitis which eventually 7 years ago ended with a laparoscopy and diagnosis of stage 3 Endo right side worse than left. I have managed with pain relief and the pill

Laporoscopy yesterday found severe endo after 13 years OK, so no fibroid removal or hysterectomy could be done for now. Devastated
Had first stage 4 endo removed 16 years ago. Had Marina fitted for 13 years and had no problems. Then I had 2 fibroids which caused major bleeding so coil removed and hormone treatments tried esmya, hormone injection every 3 months with hrt - still having these, provera and transamic acid not working

Flare ups! 😶
Good evening ladies! I've been hit full force with a major flare up! Knocked down and struggling to get back up.... it's been a while since I've had it this bad. Had surgery 2 and a bit years ago followed by the coil. Helped keep the pain from getting too bad. But since last week I've felt a build up

Endometrial cysts
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice or experiences on endometrial cysts. I’ve been suffering with one sided pain alongside my usual endometriosis symptoms for a few months now so I have an ultrasound and have been told I have a large cyst (5cmx4.5cm) on my right side and a smaller one the other

Who knew there were two kinds of inner tube valves for bikes. 😀.
I guess maybe lots of people do, but I am not one of them. I set out today to change the back inner tube of my bike. It is a slow process but I have done it once before so I was convinced I could do it again with a little help from the university of YouTube. Brakes loosened✔️ Chain moved to the little

Appointment today
hey all I had another gyni appt today.. he’s booked me in for keyhole, a camera in my womb, dye test and few other things and to also put a coil in.. he said if the coil doesn’t work the only thing left is a hysterectomy 💔. I’m only 20 and don’t have any children yet and I want them more than anything

The Coil
Hi all I’m looking for some advice! Known about my PCOS for 2 years. I can’t go on the pill as it doesn’t agree with me and I get bad migraines. My periods stopped 4 months ago and after testing my bloods with everything coming through normal they have referred me for a consultation to get the coil.

Recently diagnosed - surgery this morning
Hi. I had my first laparoscopy today and my emotions feel all over the place. I was really really thankful I met with a gynaecologist who was on the ball and quick to diagnose and get the ball rolling. Still bleeding and pain 7 weeks after op
Evening all. So 7 weeks ago I had diagnostic laparoscopy, merina coil fitted and biopsies taken. The biopsies came back all clear. I had the op due to suspected endometriosis. He never mentioned endo when I came round but I was told they cut away adhesions from my right ovary, tube and bowel. I've

Trying to get pregnant
Hi, I had the mirena coil removed in October and I have trying to become pregnant since with no luck so far. This morning I started my period, for the first time since the removal of the coil I have had period pain and symptoms like I used to have before the coil. Has anyone experienced it taking a while

Unsure what to do?
Hello, my A level exams are coming up and I'm quite scared to do them. I'm in pain constantly and recently had a coil fitted. The pain killers I usually take make me very tierd and disoriented. I'm terrified to get my period during exam season because I can't get out of bed for a week during it. I'm

Zoladex
Good Morning, I had a further catch up with my specialist yesterday and as i'm still getting a lot of pain symptoms that haven't gotten any better after my second laparoscopy + coil. They have now recommended that the next step would be to go on Zoladex, I'm pretty weary about this drug as I've heard

Finally giving up?
It's been a year since we did our third round of ivf. My periods have slowly been getting worse again, to a point where I struggle to go to work. I've seen the gp, been referred to the hospital and then been back to the gp. All of them have said I should go back on the pill or get a coil. My husband
