I’m looking for some advice or experiences on endometrial cysts. I’ve been suffering with one sided pain alongside my usual endometriosis symptoms for a few months now so I have an ultrasound and have been told I have a large cyst (5cmx4.5cm) on my right side and a smaller one the other side. I’ve now got to wait to see a gynaecologist at the start of July before anything else is done about it. The pain is getting worse- a pulling, burning sort of feeling. Also my GP is putting off fitting my coil until the gynaecologist has seen me because she isn’t sure whether it is a good idea to fit it when I have these cysts. Any advice or experiences would be gratefully received!! Xx

Hi sorry to hear you are having trouble. I have had a 15cm and 10cm cyst on ovaries previously and had similar symptoms, my gynaecologist said to have the cool fitted with them, didnt have it fitted as got unwell again before getting an apology now waiting for my second surgery for cysts removal again hope you get it sorted soon it sucks being unwell with then
I had an emergency cystectomy as they were pushing on my kidneys they did both at same time about 12 weeks ago now and i am currently waiting to go in for a cystotomy as they have come back so soon and now under a specialist
I got really ill and had bloods done at drs they sent me straight to hospital for ultrasound and it showed my right kidney being pushed on and partly blocked
No advice but I had cysts on both ovaries- the bigger they get the more painful - for me anyway. Not much you can do but take painkillers and hope u get surgery, I had a laparoscopy March this yr and been pain free since x
Thank you for your reply! They’re really painful at times, like last night 😴. I didn’t know they could be removed via laparoscopy so that’s helpful to know. I had surgery 10 years ago and it sorted me out until recently. Hope you remain pain free x
