Feeling like im "faking it"/ Private ££
My period has gone all over the place since being put on
desogestrel
and sometimes bleed for 20 days. And if my pains aren't as bad as they can be I feel like I'm exaggerating and feel guilty?

Tracking Symptoms
I am on the pill
desogestrel
(aka Cerazette) and this is good for me because it stops me ovulating and bleeding, and keeps those related symptoms in check.

Bleeding on the POP pill
I took the cerazette
desogestrel
pill for around a year and never had a bleed or a period. I took a break from it for around 3 weeks and decided to go back on it. I’ve now been back on the pill just over two months and I’m having vaginal bleeding but I don’t know if it’s a period?

Running out of Endometriosis treatment options! Are there any more out there?
I’ve tried
desogestrel
, another birth control pill as well which I can’t remember the name of, and most recently Zoladex. I had an awful time on Zoladex with severe side effects which I had to make the decision to stop using. It was the 3.6mg (1 x month).

Double dose desogestrel
Hi everyone, I've just started taking double dose of
desogestrel
(last night!) on the recommendation of my consultant, because I was getting lots of bleeding still. I've been on this pill for 5 months now, seem to bleed for at least 2 weeks out of every 4 lately.

Period light but clots
I am on
desogestrel
, which has made my periods MUCH lighter. However, I still get quite a bit of pain, and the first few days of my period I am passing only clots (not really any "liquid blood"). Do you know why this might be?

Double dose of POP desogestrel
I’ve been on
desogestrel
for a year and managed to have a few months of no periods (after initially continuous spotting) however now I’ve started having bleeding again most months. Have any of you been advised to take double of
desogestrel
to stop this and is this effective? Thank you x

So many concerns about life affected by endo
I have terrible pain from my periods, which is now more under control as I am taking a double dose of
desogestrel
every day. Although I think the hormones are affecting my moods - I definitely seem to be more depressed and irritable.

Anyone trying Mirena (levonorgestrel) & Cerazette (desogestrel) together?
Hi, Is there anyone trying Mirena (levonorgestrel) and mini pill Cerazette (
desogestrel
) together? I have endometriosis (stage IV), and it floored me, and left me in so much pain last month that I couldn't think or talk. I had two trips to the A&E by ambulance.

Mini pill & coil thoughts 💭
However my dr placed me on
desogestrel
in the meantime and after 5 days of taking it I felt awful I’m sure my milk supply decreased and I kept bursting out in tears and feeling super grumpy. I’ve stopped taking it but worry that the coil might have the same effect?

Bleeding almost constantly for 3 months
I started taking
desogestrel
contraceptive pill three months ago and have more a less bled continuously. I appreciate my body will take a few months to adjust, but this is inconvenient and getting me down. Should I persist?

Can I start the desogestrel pill before my period starts?
I haven’t started taking the pill yet and ideally need to take it soon but my periods are irregular.

Mini pill recommendations
Ive also tried
desogestrel
and this also makes me constantly bleed. Does anyone know of a mini pill that doesn’t cause bleeding constantly?? I feel like I’m running out of options! I can’t have the combined pill as I suffer from aura migraines:( Thanks so much :)

Mercilon tablet- any feedback?
Mercilon, although it contains estrogen, contains 150mg of
Desogestrel
. Cerazette only contained 75mg
Desogestrel
..so is Mercilon going to make me twice as crazy?! I don’t understand why she has prescribed this pill, does the estrogen counteract the side affects of
Desogestrel
?
