Double dose desogestrel

Hi everyone, I've just started taking double dose of desogestrel (last night!) on the recommendation of my consultant, because I was getting lots of bleeding still. I've been on this pill for 5 months now, seem to bleed for at least 2 weeks out of every 4 lately.

Does anyone else take this double dose? Do you take them at the same time, or spaced out through the day? Did you get more side effects if you increased from 1 to 2? I had nausea when I started this pill, now I get some spots and mood swings still.
