Dr Maksoud
Has anyone seen a Dr Maksoud, I know I’ve asked this question before but did not get any replies. I’m particularly interested to know if he prescribes t3 or ndt. Obviously only pms please

Recovering after hospital stay
I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect next. I had Covid at the end of January. I felt very flu like for a couple of days then okay for a few days. After that I got a cold and a chesty cough. The cough was only occasional. At the end of last week I started to feel flu like again. I decided

Coughing and AFib
I've been down for several days with what seems to be the flu (4 days of negative covid testing) and one of the most persistent symptoms has been a bad cough. I went into AFib a couple of days ago but blamed it on the fever. However, no fever today, but just went into AFib again. Anyone else have this

Success or otherwise of Taking Levothyroxine Plus Metavive ?
Does anyone have experience of taking these two to get and stay well ? Or was it a disaster? As someone who just CANNOT get well on Thyroxine alone.. And having tried NDT at length.. For about 8 months been on a mix of Metavive and Levo.. I only take 25 mcg Levo..clearly not enough in itself…

I think I’ve messed up!
Started to feel not so great. Was taking 2 grains of NDT and 25mcg T3( background RAI therapy around 10 yrs ago) I went to the doctors who took bloods. Results as detailed. I am not sure why my results are so low. I have been on the same dosage for a long time- blood results were always good! Has NDT

underactive thyroid
hi there I’ve had an under active thyroid for 8 years and recently gained weight and losing iron. My doctor has said my neck thyroid reading is ok but my “brain reading is slower” Does this make sense to anyone? Also, how do people take iron and vitamin d as I have read not to take it near medication

Misdiagnosed for 30 years !!!
well, in my last post I told how I had lost over 4 st in 12 months and my GP said it was down to my thyroid. But I couldn’t get an Endo appointment for 4 months. So I decided to see a private Endocrinologist. what he told me shocked me to the core and now I am so confused I don’t know what to do. He

I was diagnosed with COPD March last year after several years of chesty cold and finally Covid. I have inhaler that seem to have helped. I developed an achy chest pain. GP diagnosed a chest infection but I have had no cough is it normal not to have a cough.

Another cold type virus
Posted in January about respiratory virus which I recovered from about 2 weeks ago. Blow me down, I have a sore throat, runny nose, feel flat and no energy again. This is the 3rd cold/flu type bug I have had in 3 months. Is this due to suppressed immune system or overdoing it or just bad luck? @

Everlasting Cold
I am on day 20 of this cold that just doesn’t seem to go away. Not Covid, grateful for that but the amount of mucus I produce is never ending. Not running a fever but just tired of the congestion and coughing. Is there any use in seeing my doctor considering I am probably just dealing with an ordinary

Daughter thyroid results
HiI am new here with a question for my daughter (19). She is really struggling with fatigue so much so she is home from Uni. Also feels sick, headaches, really cold hands and feet and very pale. She had low ferritin last year and was put on iron tablets for 3 months. She went for a private blood test
