hi, can anyone please advise best place to get thyroid blood testing as go will not do more than annual TSH. Also, what are the markers? What I mean is, I have heard of t3 and t4 but also heard of others to make up about 7 things to test in a ‘full’ panel? Any tips. Would be appreciated thanks

Just wondering if anyone knows how you can tell if you are not absorbing thyroxine and liothyronine due to gut/stomach problems. Louise - hypothyroid , just want to have them done privately for my endocrinologist I got through this website , as my GP’s won’t understand how the thyroid TSH works etc etc ( without me having to go into it you all know what I mean anyway - almost easier to get them done privately rather than on NHS

I take levothyroxine and metformin. My blood results for diabetes are too high. My TSH is below range ,T4 just in range at upper level .Levothyroxine may increase the diabetes result. Should I reduce the levothyroxine?
