Ablation happening soon
Hey everyone So back in march I had an abnormal rythym detected by my ICD. I had an emergency meeting with a cardiologist about having an ablation. I honestly freaked out due to some horrible experiences, he put my mind at rest. I've had my pre-op assessment which was a phone call with an awesome nurse

Difficulty turning over in bed
A few years ago l asked if any of you had trouble turning over in bed and got a lot of responses- some compared it to feeling like a beached whale ! Recently l had a shoulder replacement which made it even worse for me so my son came to my rescue. It has helped so much that l thought l would share it

Periodic episodes of fluctuating tachycardia while in AFib.
Never had any heart problems until early 2020. I'm a rather robust yet strong guy , late 40s. I suspect COVID may have had something to do with it. Never vaccinated either..went to e.r after having AFib for 16 hrs. Was blacking out at work. Thought I was going to die. Spent 2 days in hospital. Echocardiogram

PIPS and heart failure
Good morning all. As a brief summary I have severe LV impairment and HF with ICD fitted. I found out this week that my EF has fallen from 35 to 21%. I've been put on dapaglaflozin with epelerone to follow. I work 25 hrs per week but feel it might be wise to drop to 20 hrs. Any advice about applying for

What to do?
Hi All, I lost a load of weight last year doing a keto diet. Subsequently I didn't have AFib for 18 months. I have Paroxysmal AFib and usually only have 1 AFib a year. I always cardiovert with Flecanide. My Chadvac is 0. However, this year I've put more weight on and blood pressure has risen and I've

Feel like a bit of a Fraud
I had an AF episode in mid January which lasted 5 hours but by the time I got to hospital everything was normal. Stayed overnight on a heart monitor - nothing, so discharged and told I would he sent a Kardiamobile app but shoukd continue living as normal. NHS then cancelled Kardiamobile and gave me

Some Success with Avoiding Afib
After seeing my Afib rate of incidence go from once every couple of months to once a month to every 2 weeks -10 days, I finally got control of the factors which I believe were driving it.Doing that included: 1. Getting off of most of my blood pressure meds. (I only take 12.5 mg metoprolol twice a day

Need to restage cancer
Due to being castration resistant and PSA rising while on Xtandi/Lupron, his MO says she needs scan(s) to restage his cancer. The problem is that my husband can't tolerate lying on his back for the duration and/or keep his arms raised above his head. He tried to have a PET scan last year but had to cut
