TMI nut period talk!
When I first started my period when I was about 9-10 they was really heavy but had no pain, some days I would forget I’m on my period because I had no pain and never suffered from PMS after losing my virginity my period would come every month but on different days but I’ve notice for over a year how

First official meeting with oncologist!
Hello All, Today I take my father to his oncologist to discuss treatment options. He is already on Casodex and Lupron from his urologist and the oncologist mentioned chemo treatments but have yet to solidify official treatment plan. I have created a few beginner questions to go over with oncologist

Metformin
Anyone else on Metformin for PCOS? I've just started taking it (last Saturday) so coming to the end of Week 1 and I haven't lost a single pound! I've not gained either but I thought this was meant to help lose weight? I will say that I've not had the usual side effects everyone talks about, I'm constipated

Am I menopausal?
For the past few days, I’ve been having really bad hot flashes. I have been having an issue with sweating. I’m only 23 years of age and have type 2 diabetes that is controlled by taking metformin slow release.

More bad news
Seems like all we get is bad news. 4wks ago I posted how my dad’s PSA went from 3.5 to 10 in 4wks after being switched from Zytiga to Xtandi (Zytiga failed at 7 months). Well today we found out his PSA is at 20-it has doubled in 4wks. His alkaline phosphotase has increased and his calcium level is sky

Hello everyone. I was recently diagnosed as being diabetic. My doctor prescribesd Metformin 1 pill (500mg) with breakfast and 1 with dinner. Does Metformin affect the ability of a man to ejaculate? I take 2-3 20mg Viagra pills before sex. Prior to starting Metformin I could ejaculate twice per week

Cirrhosis makes me sleep all day & night -- any remedies?
Hi! I'm new here. I have had NASH for many years and it has now turned into cirrhosis. I have numerous varices, and had a near-fatal episode of bleeding from my varices a few years ago. The varices have responded well to banding, but I am now astonishingly tired. Sleeping 18 to 22 hours a day is not

Hello all I am type 2 for about a year now
My doctor started me on metformin 4 tabs a day and Victoza 1.8 a day. I have lost some weight and have been feeling great. So, at 6 months, they lowered the metformin dose to 2 tabs a day and kept Victoza the same. Still feeling great and a1c is great. So they just took my Victoza down to .6. Not

Metformin depletes Vitamin B12 and Coq10
Metformin is the first line of defence for Diabetes. It is the old workhorse and perhaps it is the only diabetic medicine which has least side effects. While going through this beautiful article on " Drug induced nutrient Depletion" which is highly relevant to all diabetes, metformin is listed as depleting

Two weeks ago my dad found out that his PSA jumped from 3.5 to 10 in four weeks on Xtandi. He had only been on Xtandi for four weeks he was switched over from Zytiga. In this past week he has declined rapidly complaining of his back and legs hurting, severe restless leg syndrome, not sleeping at all,

Hi all you lovely ladies. I hope you are taking care of yourselves on this tough journey. I’ve thought long and hard about whether to post this and really hope that I don’t upset or offend anyone.
