Hi I am new to this forum but unfortunately not new to hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed 20 years ago and have been on various amounts of levothyroxine with just horrible results. I was always cold, tired, constipated and couldn’t lose weight. I finally found Thyrogold in the last few months and immediately felt amazing on it, after trying to raise it from 150mg to 300mg I began to have a higher than normal resting heart rate and some palpitations and weight gain without changes in eating. I was fearful so I broke down and let my primary care Dr know I had switched over. He was surprisingly open and glad I was feeling better but wanted to see some test results. I got the results over the weekend, he seemed ok with them but I’m not ok with weight gain. I was hoping that someone on here could take a look at them and let me know if they see a glaring problem. I also take 1500 mg of Metformin for insulin resistance. I personally think my Ferritin is low but my doctor didn’t mention it. Here are my test results:
Free T3 3.09 (1.71-3.71)
FreeT4 1.32 (.7-1.48)
TSH-.006 (.35-4.940)
Ferritin 31.73 (5-204)
Iron 119 (25-156)
TIBC 378 ( 250-450)
Thank you for any insight
