NDT arrived, just want clarification on taking it
As many of you know from my previous posts, I’ve been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, by a private Endocrinologist (blood tests/scan confirmed this) He refused to give my any medication (expect antidepressants) I refused this, he said nothing would help. Went to my GP, but, as the Endocrinologist refused

My list of daily supplements
Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

Blood results - help, please, a bit confused
My symptoms appear to be changing again so I decided to do bloods at over 2 weeks of 2.75 grain (was on 2.5 for 10 weeks and after 8 weeks I felt very low, depressed and out of energy). TSH= 0.07 FT3=5.65 (range up to 5.7) FT4=13.3 (9-19) TT3=1.76 (0.89-2.44) TT4=98 (63-151) ATG=13 (<4) ATPO=930 (<5)

Non-NHS options to treating subclinical hypothyroidism?
Hi, after pushing my GP last week, they are still "very deaf" to my thyroid/antibodies and the saliva cortisol test - see below; NHS 9am serum cortisol was 309 in 2017 (compared to 376 in 2015 by Blue Horizons!). Blue Horizon Autumn 2017 Thyroid panel indicates ineffecient T4-T3 conversion: Folate (

Im a 22 yr. Old Female. I've been having some health problems that ended up making my Dr want to look into more. Which made me a little worried. He scheduled me a colonoscopy. And had some blood work done. Which then told me that Dr. For the colonoscopy will call me to set up an appointment and if they

Feedback from first endo visit and a plea for help
Hi all, went for my first endo visit couple of weeks ago. Showed him my six hundred pound private bloods. He only wanted to look at thyroid panel not vit panel. Then just drew me a little picture like I was a six year old at primary school. Slipped in very quietl that only levothyroxine is treatment

Private blood tests back- confused about what to do next, back to the GP or go straight to a private doctor?
Hello, I have just got my Blue Horizon blood tests back (appreciated the recommendation!) but not sure what’s best. I’m still getting to grips with deciphering the numbers but think my TSH is ‘normal’ but not optimal, free T4 could be higher , free T3 is lowish and Vit D needs improving. Am I best to

New ACTIVE B12 test from Medichecks: what does this mean?
Dear all; I have found your previous advice on this forum very useful. However I am somewhat disappointed with my test results received today, and wondered if you have any answers. My first test was in March 2017. I have been free of my Beta Blockers, and my PPI for 5/ 6 months to aid gut absorption

Feeling so down after months of trying everything. Would really appreciate advice on latest bloods.
Apologies for a long post. As some of you may know, I have tried so hard to help myself since Hashis diagnosis last March. I’ve been gluten free and mainly also grain free (which I find such hard work) since April, I’ve followed numerous protocols on the advice of a functional nutritionist to heal my

Thought I was 'done with it.'
I came down with Fibromyalgia about 15 yrs ago...and had NO IDEA what it was until I started Googling and then talking with people into alternative health...finally, a 'real doctor' said yes, that is what it was. Of course, no ideas how to help. Just pain pills. Fortunately I came across people working
