A footnote on Sjogren's Syndrome. While researching it yesterday, I came across another auto immune syndroms called Sicca's Syndrome. This syndrome actually causes the dry mouth, dry eyes behind Sjogren's. Listen carefully as I try hard to explain this. Those who have Sjogren's have Sicca too. It is

Healing Adrenal Glands
I have just seen a summit in which John Gray [Men are frim Mars etc] gave a talk and he says the adrenal glands can be healed using 5,000 mg of vitamin C, 5,000 mg taurine and 5,000 mg MSM three times a day. Has anyone tried this with any success? The link has a video and at the end he talks about this

Firstly thank you to those who have replied to my posts so far. I have spent the past few weeks reading a lot and getting my head in a muddle but I think I have a plan. As my doctor is not interested in my physical health I guess it is up to me and although I don’t like taking any type of pills I think

On the 10th my bloods came back as normal 👍👍👍👍 I’m so happy and can’t thank medical staff enough.... unfortunately it’s left me with Cirrhosis

New results - thoughts?
I’ve just received my latest results. I’m currently 175mcg levo and have been since increasing from 150mcg about 6 weeks ago. After the increase, I immediately felt a LOT better but sadly this only lasted about three weeks before my symptoms returned. I (most days) suffer from muscle weakness, random

Lab results and what to supplement
I just got my lab results and I am not sure what I should start supplementing. I did my research and I see most of my results are too low but I need some second opinion on this before I'll start ordering supplements. I started on NDT a few months ago but I started feeling worse when rising over 1,5 grain

Additional Info On Unknown or Unaddressed Concerns That Can Cause or Aggravate Anxiety & Depression
This is JEG 325 again. Just so you know, my magnesium was also found to be slightly low. My doctor has me on Vit. D, Magnesium Citrate & Time released potassium. What I found out personally is that high sodium intake, low potassium intake & not enough water are more things that aggravate my depression

Tests after Biotin stopped
SlowDragon suggested I put up a post of my own, so here goes. I have been bugging my PCP for nearly two years about my lingering symptoms of hypothyroidism, despite being on 175 mcg / day of Synthroid. Specifically, going bald, fragile nails, cold intolerance, dry gritty eyes, difficulty losing weight

Dust mite allergy causing asthma
Hi everybody! 👋🏼 For the past 4 weeks or so I have been suffering with sore throat and cough that gets worse at night. Initially I thought it was a cold and tried natural remedies like honey, lemon lots of Vit C and rest but it did not help. So I visited a GP and he said it was an inflammation and

Just had T3 level tested by NHS
Just to update members since my last post two months ago, I went for my blood test this week and have had T3 level tested on the NHS. I know others have had the request denied, so just wanted to say I noticed my Gp had put on the form "T3 as previously advised by endocrinologist" so perhaps this made

An important warning: when a flare might not be a flare.
After 18 months on Prednisolone, reduced from initial 60mg daily ( the almost lethal dose in my case), I was down to 2 mg daily and my inflammatory factors (ESR and C-reactive protein) were very low. Then suddenly in September this year, a routine blood test shocked my medics ( and me)- both ESR and

How often should I self-inject?
I've been self injecting hydroxocobalamin since April 2018. I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency in October 2017, had my six/seven loading doses and then given injections in three monthly cycles. I found that within a week to ten days all of my symptoms were returning so I went down the route of self
