A 4 Year Journey
Intermittent bleeding continues at this time and a recent
Cystoscopy
ruled out all other causes for the bleeding other than the effects of radiation treatment. Urologist suggested the damage caused by radiation may be treated with Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments.

Not a UTI
I was put on a 2 week pathway to the hospital and must undergo a
cystoscopy
tomorrow. My question is - Is there any PMR/Prednisolone reason that could be causing or contributing to this please? Thanks.

Cystoscopy
showed normal and healthy bladder and urethra. That was 24th April and I await (hopefully) a follow up appointment with Urology.

Recurring UTI’s - Diagnosis - Atrophic vaginitis
Appointment included many tests including a flexible
cystoscopy
, which was very uncomfortable as doctor had difficulty locating urethra due to grade 2 cystocele and uterine prolapse.

Update on NOT a UTI
I had the
cystoscopy
this morning, not a pleasant experience, but no cancer, no inflammation and no gritty substance, so that at least is good.

Urologist has suggested TURP or radiation after
cystoscopy
. He highly recommended TURP. Anyone else have this wonderful experience?

Complex hip/pelvis injury (structural damage, tendons, PN...): seeking advice
I have had STI tests, ultrasound and
cystoscopy
ruling out any bladder damage or infection, so the pain is so far unexplained. 3. Often when it’s at its worst, swimming breast stroke has provided some of the best pain relief. 4.

Optilume, scans, and tests
I had a
cystoscopy
today as part of my decision making process for BPH treatment first or Gleason 7 (4+3) treatment first. My urologist gave me a brochure for a procedure he does called Optilume from a company called Laborie.

Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.
A
cystoscopy
revealed nothing particularly new, but obviously concerned. I’d hoped with my PSA rising, I’d have at least two or more years on different types of chemo, to be commenced soon. Whilst an enthusiastic layman on prostate cancer, I know little about how to tackle this.

Blood in Urine
I’m hoping for a
cystoscopy
soon to find out what is going on. Anyone been in this situation? Any suggested treatments? Can they scrape or help surgically? I’ve had probably as much radiotherapy as I can already.

Artificial Urinary Sphincter? Finding a surgeon and understanding recovery?
I have a
cystoscopy
next week to see what may have changed. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone that has been through the AUS surgery that can tell me: 1) How was your recovery compared to RP or if you had sling surgery. Was there any problems with your recovery? How was pain managed?

I have had various tests including a
cystoscopy
where the urologist says my urethra was narrow so stretched it bit apart from that everything else was normal . She has now just said there’s nothing more she can do and has told me to go back my Rheumatology team which I am doing tomorrow .

Elmiron making nocturia worse?
Hello everyone, I have been prescribed Elmiron for Bladder Pain Syndrome as my
cystoscopy
showed glomurations and water fall bleeding. I've only been on it for 4 days and I'm now getting up every hour rather than 3 times a night.

Pelvic Pain unknown cause
Cystoscopy
in 2018 showed bladder inflamed in areas but no tumours etc and so urology didn't follow up. I believe triggers to be sex, intense stress and sometimes periods. Comes and goes. I have always thought this was IC but never been diagnosed. No incontinence issues.

Bladder Cancer Update,
Besides my COPD and heart problems I have Bladder Cancer which is Hight Grade, Six weeks ago I had a Rigid
cystoscopy
to see how my last ditch treatment on BCG would go and told, would be the last time I could have that. I had heard nothing and was 6 weeks ago Sunday.
