Update on NOT a UTI

Hi, just to update. I had the cystoscopy this morning, not a pleasant experience, but no cancer, no inflammation and no gritty substance, so that at least is good. She did say some people's kidneys do just excrete microscopic blood particles as their normal, but that I possibly have overactive bladder as I need to drink much more fluid (water). I have duly taken note and really hope this is the end of it. I have however taken myself off the Adcal (1-2 weeks ago) and won't be taking it again until I've got results of my DXA scan ( which I had on 16th November last year!!) and then only if I'm ordered to! Thank you for all your replies everyone.x

That’s a relief and now follow the good practical advice in your previous post, thread.

if you are worried about the calcium can you not just take d3 and take calcium in your diet

That's what I'm going to do. Probably showing my ignorance - but does D3 have to be prescribed or can I just buy, and if so which do people go for please? Thank you.

Just buy it if they won't prescribe. And I would say take more than the paltry 800 IU you get in the supplements! I take 4000 IU - and that is approved by my doctors.
