Elmiron making nocturia worse?
Hello everyone, I have been prescribed Elmiron for Bladder Pain Syndrome as my
cystoscopy
showed glomurations and water fall bleeding. I've only been on it for 4 days and I'm now getting up every hour rather than 3 times a night.

Blood in Urine
I’m hoping for a
cystoscopy
soon to find out what is going on. Anyone been in this situation? Any suggested treatments? Can they scrape or help surgically? I’ve had probably as much radiotherapy as I can already.

Help! Prostate cancer spread to bladder.
A
cystoscopy
revealed nothing particularly new, but obviously concerned. I’d hoped with my PSA rising, I’d have at least two or more years on different types of chemo, to be commenced soon. Whilst an enthusiastic layman on prostate cancer, I know little about how to tackle this.

Anti thyroglobulin Antibody High
Have had an endoscopy( am awaiting report but consultant didn't seem overly concerned) had a
cystoscopy
which was clear as I have an enlarged prostate but normal psa levels. I got bloods done privately which show I have elevated anti thyroglobulin antibody's.

Second CT Scan with contrast
He told me I needed a
cystoscopy
which although very anxious I did have done. He did not think the blood was coming from my bladder and found no tumours. So he has now ordered a second abdominal/pelvic CT scan with contrast which is tomorrow afternoon.

Artificial Urinary Sphincter? Finding a surgeon and understanding recovery?
I have a
cystoscopy
next week to see what may have changed. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone that has been through the AUS surgery that can tell me: 1) How was your recovery compared to RP or if you had sling surgery. Was there any problems with your recovery? How was pain managed?

Bladder Cancer Update,
Besides my COPD and heart problems I have Bladder Cancer which is Hight Grade, Six weeks ago I had a Rigid
cystoscopy
to see how my last ditch treatment on BCG would go and told, would be the last time I could have that. I had heard nothing and was 6 weeks ago Sunday.

CYSTOSCOPY NEGATIVE August 2023
Hey Ladies and Gents. The urologist/oncologist says we can stop the monthly chemo infusions since my urinary bladder looks free of any neoplasm. And next April (2024), if it holds, I’ll be cancer free for three years and can get back on the lung transplant list. “Let your last thinks all be thanks

I have had various tests including a
cystoscopy
where the urologist says my urethra was narrow so stretched it bit apart from that everything else was normal . She has now just said there’s nothing more she can do and has told me to go back my Rheumatology team which I am doing tomorrow .

She was able to look at my notes and confirmed the
Cystoscopy
in June showed most of the quadrants with no tumour - Hence the change from high grade to low grade.

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
This is done via a
cystoscopy
and they will take 4 biopsies as well as checking what is what . If they find anything they will probably take it out, like they did in September 2021 - Then a treatment plan after biopsies will happen.

Interstitial Cystitis with negative biopsy?
Hi everyone, I had a
cystoscopy
done during a surgery for endometriosis under general and the report says 'petichiae seen on double fill' and a question of Interstitial Cystitis. They took a biopsy and that shows 'a few scattered mast cells' but reports 'negative for significant inflammation'.

After Urolift Failure What next
A recent
cystoscopy
revealed that one end of one of the four implants used was in my bladder (rare occurrence) which has started to 'crust' and a stone has formed which has now been lasered and the rogue implant removed.

My Cancer and other health issues update.
At best and I would settle for this, would mean BCG every 3-4 months followed by a
Cystoscopy
or TURBT. Why was I not told before by my consultant !!!
