Poor diagnosis from gynae, help please! 😞
Can you demand to have a
cystoscopy
? Can I demand that they do more tests? Has anybody had anything like this before?

Day 3 following lap - diagnosis of endo and interstitial cystitis
I have a history of recurrent UTI's (started 11 years ago) which has become more painful over the last 4 months so my gyne also performed a
cystoscopy
where he discovered adhesions and cracks inside my bladder (no sign of endo though!).

Do you have to declare Endometriosis to new employer?
I believe I will be told that I need a
cystoscopy
and possibly another laparoscopy. My new employer hasn’t given me a medical form or asked if I have any conditions to declare. They know I have an appointment but they don’t know where or what for. What should I do?

Nearly 3 weeks post lap....
It's three weeks tomorrow since I had my first laparsocopy and
cystoscopy
, I've since seen my consultant and endometriosis was found and removed from both sides, on my ovaries, much more so on my left.

Can a serious bout on constipation triggers the on set of Prostate Cancer
I remembered after my
cystoscopy
on 27/10/17 ( right ureteric stent implanted) I had constipation on day 2 and day 6 hence got relief when using lax tab. If my memory served me correctly I did had a 7 day no bowel movement back in May 2017. Like I said I eat heaps so this is really unusual.

Trying to get pregnant after diagnosis?
After a year of waiting for appts, I had an exploratory laparoscopy and
cystoscopy
about 4 weeks ago. They have found endo on my bladder, adhesions, cysts and my right Fallopian tube is attached to my bowel. Believe it or not, I cried with happiness when I found out...

Symptoms matching mine?
I've had ultrasounds, CT scans, I had a
cystoscopy
, changed pills 3 times and am now having a lapo in 4 weeks. I get really bad pain a week before my period, and the most intense deep period pains (if i don't take a lot of codeine i can't do ANYTHING it's horrific).

Urethra Pain and Nerve Recovery
Dear All, I’ve been suffering for over 11 months now with chronic urethral pain following a
cystoscopy
to dilate my urethra. I’ve been to pain management and they’ve prescribed me some Gabapentin which helps but doesn’t remove the pain.

Waiting for diagnosis of Endo
My operation is scheduled for the 26th April 2018 (laparoscopy +/- ureterolysis,
cystoscopy
and fitting a mirena coil). I'm on reduced hours at work taking Naproxen and codeine everyday but it's a constant struggle.

Still here....
He reacted badly to BCG and hasn't had any more but has quarterly
cystoscopy
. Fortunately, he is well and has had no more tumours. He keeps disposable catheters for occasional use but is aware of infection risks. He has used cranberry juice to prevent infections and takes multi vitamins.

Confused and frustrated
Bladder worsened age 24, rigid
cystoscopy
noted 'possible interstitial cystitis', had cryotherapy for ectropion at a similar time. Suffered still for a few years but then some improvements in everything aged 26-30, apart from cell removal due to abnormal smear.

My harrowing patient journey
I went in for a rigid
cystoscopy
under general anaesthesia as a day case on Wednesday 25/10/17. This was part of a work-up to rule out urological cancer. At home I had had haematuria with clots. By evening time, I had gone into acute urinary retention (AUR).

Proteinuria and Thyroid Both Rose Need some support.
My CAT with contrast and
Cystoscopy
were both normal. I was also put on rouvastatin 5mg for cholesterol in September of 2016 and asked to be removed from it as it causes Proteinuria.

Help 10 weeks post surgery
They also done a
cystoscopy
at the time. I was advised the average recovery would be six weeks, but now 10 weeks on I am still off work and suffering with my doctor and surgeon just saying it takes time. Please has anyone else took this long to recover and experienced the below symptoms still?

Cystoscopy Day
Today is the day! Been waiting weeks for this, I do feel better about it after reading the responses to my last post but still very anxious - especially because I'm on my period now!! Because getting your lady parts out in front of a man you don't even know isn't embarrassing enough! I'll let everyone
