Has anyone here completely overcome Radiation Cystitis or Radiation Urethritis for the long term?
Asking because my hubs is having 2nd bout in less than 1 year. Urologist is repeating same procedure of dilating urethra using successively larger catheters every two weeks with Foley 24/7 apparatus. Last bout, hubs started out with bleeding & blood clots. This time, no blood at first, just had hard

Post eSRT radiation cystitis
Radiation
cystitis
seems to come up here regularly, but usually at around the time radiation is being administered - I've read that it can be delayed by a couple of years, so perhaps that is what I am experiencing (tests showed I don't have a a UTI or kidney stones, and there is just a slight discomfort

Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome and endometriosis?
Hi, I have a laparoscopy booked next week to look for endometriosis, which my consultant thinks may be linked to my interstitial
cystitis
symptoms- does anyone else have this? Do you have any advice on how to manage it?

Bleeding just won’t stop anymore
After researching radiation
cystitis
(which is what his current urologist feels that is the problem), I’m not seeing much success with the few treatments that are available. Has been bleeding sporadically since January but recently, the bleeding hasn’t really stopped.

Devastated with the news
My hubby was admitted to the hospital last week because his radiation
cystitis
was created huge blood clots that were preventing him from urinating. He had been using the straight catheter until he started bleeding again.

Hi had anyone here suffered from failed rectocele/cystocele surgery? I had both repaired in 2018 but feel that I am back to square one, the physio says that I have some nerve damage to the pelvic floor and the exercises aren’t really working. I discovered a condition called interstitial

Possible explanation for lack of hepatic B12 storage
I was reading an article about interstitial
cystitis
(another chronic disease potentially linked to B12 deficiency) and came across an interesting passage that mentioned deficiencies in B12 transport proteins (specifically TC II) and a failure of hepatic B12 storage in people with porphyria.

Radiation Cystitis round 2
I just got out of the hospital last week after a 2nd ER visit in a year for blood clots blocking my urethra. On top of that my lupus had kicked in and we found out my immune system was killing my blood count lowering the red blood cells and destroying the immature platelets which help clotting. Found
