Radiation cystitis
There are several possible treatments. This link has some info:
How long have you had it? It's usually looks scarier than it is, and if you leave it alone, it will usually clear up on its own. It can cause trouble if you go poking around in there.
I know a patient who got Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It worked for him. frontiersin.org/articles/10...
Dr. Strum gave dad Trental to heal the radiation scarring. Had a nice side effect of stopping his tinnitus in his ears
hyperbaric oxygen therapy---google for radiation cystitis and this should come up on 1st screen. come up
Had cystitis very severe. Went thru 30 day treatments with hyperbarics twice. It did help for a few years but then it returned worse then ever. My bladder would form stones and shut down ever other month. Finally had my bladder removed and it was the best thing that I ever did. It has been 7 years and no one knows unless I tell them
I did 60 rounds of hyperbaric oxygen. No more bleeding after round 20.
Developed it very severely 10+ years after salvage prostate bed irradiation and had 2 obstructive episodes. After 40 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen I am very much improved, although I haven't seen the inside of my bladder yet post treatment. Only had one bleeding episode since.
FYI straining to have a bowel movement will cause the bladder to bleed unless you avoid this.
