Gabapentin & Sertraline & Noctrix Nidra

Here's my latest: I weaned off gabapentin and got RLS relief from the Noctrix Nidra device over 6 months ago. Come late winter 2025 my usual seasonal affective disorder kicked in, coupled with the U.S. political scene, and I was dealing with major depression. Three weeks ago my new psychiatrist put me on 200mg gabapentin AND 25mg sertraline ((Zoloft). I was nervous about the SSRI but so far so good. I keep my Nidra charged and ready but I have no RLS symptoms to date. The depression is much improved. Not thrilled to be on meds again but the alternative is worse.

For those with mild RLS and seasonal depression, like me, perhaps you too can test the SSRI waters. Note - my prior experience with Cymbalta (Duloxetine) was horrible for RLS; sertraline is fine so far.

You are lucky as it makes RLS worse for most but that is great it is OK and works for you.😀
