Should I be worried about suppressed TSH
I am extremely well and all my bloods seem within normal range to me (but not the GP)! I am 61 years old and was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroditis and Chronic Fatigue in 2004. My only health issue is very erratic sleep (one night 8 and a half hours, the next 4) which I handle by resting in the afternoon

Vit D deficient
for the last 3 years I’ve been experiencing peculiar feelings like the odd numbness in my hands and feet, weird almost tremblings up and down my arms, more anxiety than usual, awful muscle and bone pain in my legs and around my torso so as usual I put everything down to my AF or my hypertension. Anyway

My doctors won’t investigate
Typically I suffer with chronic symptoms of low B12 but all my results seem to be ignored by GP. My ferritin is 35 ug/L (indeterminate), vitamin b12 is 157ng/L (low) and in my FBC my MCV is 95.5 (just below higher cut off) and MCH is 32.1 (slightly high - comment on blood test is ‘no action despite having

Daughters bloods, saga continues and I'm Not Happy
Following on from previous posts , many posts think I can absolutely without doubt or hesitation say I am absolutely F&%@ing fuming. Gp's had asked for repeat bloods again, I kept telling them to follow NICE guidelines and that B12 shouldn't be tested once treatment started, they consistently ignored

Anaemia caused by PRD?
I had pelvic/abdominal radiotherapy treatment almost 50 years ago and started to suffer problems with digestion about 20 years ago, put down at the time, to IBS. In 2017, I underwent a hemicolectomy and the surgeon told me at the time that my small bowel was quite damaged commenting that she was surprised

feeling desperate.
Ok so I am hopefully going to be starting injecting every other day soon (possibly end of this week), but can’t just yet and I don’t know how to cope. I ain’t sleeping, I am peeing loads and have terrible bladder pain. Dr Klein says this does happen to some people. But I have also started seeing things

trying to get B12 SI schedule right for me
hi all Just trying to get my SI schedule right to feel my best. I live in the USA so tx protocol is once a month B12 injection. This doesn’t work for me. I need it much more often. It does seem I feel best when I’m injected by the nurse. I order my own supplies to SI at home in between nurse injections

Is it B12 anemia? I’m confused.
Hello all, I’m new here and not sure if I need to pursue some concerns I have with my health so wondered if anyone could possible give me some advice/guidance. I’ve always been tired, (it’s a family joke!), struggled with gut issues (mainly constipation), and in the last 5 or so years had terrible brain

Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
Hi, I’ve learned more here in the last year or so than I’ve ever learned from doctors. I’ve also come to know that I’ve probably been on too low of a Synthroid dosage for far too long. I am hypothyroid with Hashimoto’s since 2005 or 2006. I had a goiter on my parathyroid and had surgery to remove

Weird test results
I tried to post my results the other day in the hope that one of our amazing Admins might be kind enough to give their opinion but the photo came out blurred for some reason. I take 3 grains of Armour which I’ve been doing since 2017 and up to now have been ok. However the last three to four months

B12 levels advice
I have been trying to raise my B12 levels for a number of years (since i was diagnosed hypothyroid and advised B12 levels needed to be higher). I have been taking supplements since April 2022 (although slightly erratic as i sometimes forget) but my B12 levels have not significantly increased , see
