W4R2 - it's getting easier
Evening šāāļø šāāļø, I just completed W4R2 and after my last post and reading recommendation, not even my own head got in the way. š My problem is this. Almost 4 years ago I was struck with Bell's Palsy and to this day the right side of my face is paralysed with no hope of recovery. The only blessing

Cold Laser and EMDR!
On November 3rd 2021 I started seeing a new chiropractor who uses cold laser treatments. Itās like red light therapy on steroids. Look it up! My smell that was diminished is now almost normal. Gait and stiffness improved greatly. Little tremor I had is gone. Can Type 75% better! He does a laser treatment

Traumatic afternoon at eye clinic!
Had an appointment yesterday afternoon at 1.45pm to check my eye pressures. Got there, only to be told that my appointment for some unknown reason had been cancelled! I hadn't received any communication to let me know, so had to wait for about 20 minutes while the receptionist looked for my notes and

Rinvoq 5 days
I started my Rinvoq on Wednesday. The first 3 days I was so tired I could barely get off the couch and couldn't keep my eyes open. This has improved somewhat the past couple of days. This morning some of my joints actually feel less painful. I was able to get up off the toilet without too much

Feels like thin ice....
Yesterday I cut my Prednisone by 10mg. I've taken injections of Actemra on the 5th, 12th and yesterday. Last night I noticed bleeding in my left (blind) eye. It was a bit worse this a.m. so I made an appointment with the ophthalmologist. Not GCA-related, just severely dry eyes so I picked up another

Technology - a source of massive stress
Anyone else having this issue? Iām 78, a former university art instructor, and am finding myself increasingly stressed when having to deal with technology to get anything done - especially health care! Everything requires passwords, sign in IDs, and if you mess up you often have to go through the whole

Does anyone know where I can get advice/help/support specific to 'Bile Acid Malabsorption' (aside from Online Sites)?
I am struggling very badly and it is destroying my life alongside with my other health conditions. Am I allowed to ask for personal recommendations? (ignore if not) There are various conflicts with diet regarding diabetes and BAM and my stress is also increased re other conditions. Is there a helpline

How are you ?
Hello all my friends on here, are you all keeping well ? My eyesight was slightly blurred pre trab surgery, still is, only a bit worse with the odd ache, dry eye which I am taking drops for, it feels like the eye ball has a slightly obscure film over it, but apart from that quite well, so no real problems

Would you recommend EMDR therapy?
I havenāt gone to therapy in awhile. I believe Iāve only tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Iād love to hear from anyone on your experience or recommendations.
