Nine months after...
Hello Friends, I think it's been a couple of months since I have been on this site. Sandy has been gone 9.5 months now. It's quite a journey learning to live without him. I'm doing better than I had expected. Of course, Covid on top of everything just muddies the waters. Who knows what the feelings would

Depression or Mid-life crisis?
I don't know what is going on with me. The last couple months I have not been myself. I'm so sad, down, and just feel empty. My partner and kids don't know what to do with me. I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow to talk about medications because what I'm on isn't working. I hate my job and I now have some

Sending virtual hugs (and looking for a virtual hug...) 😘🤗
Hi all I hope everyone is okay. I've not posted for a while as I have been really struggling so needed some time out. I wasn't sure where to post as a large part of my struggles are due to infertility but as I have already been through this 'journey' I have opted for this forum. I hope this is okay.

Hi Everyone, Sorry for the long post, I am new here so I hope I am doing this post correctly. I am just looking for some questions answered / advice from someone who has taken Propranolol before. Background : I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression around 12 years ago when I was around 15

Pet Loss & Depression
I have to put my 10 1/2 year old dog down in 3 weeks. He has a serious heart condition, which we have managed pretty well over the last 2 years. But he has dropped almost half of his body weight this summer and has serious gum disease. I know it is the best time, before he is in too much more pain.

For those in need of Bereavement Counselling but cannot access it at the moment
You can check with a local Therapist, they generally cover this topic too. You probably won't have face to face counselling but via video call and remember there will probably be a charge for this. Chloe<3

a little bit about me
Hey everyone. I decided to reach out for help from people who actually understand what it is like living with a panic disorder. I find it hard to even leave my house anymore. I cannot control my head. I won't even be panicking and I will THINK about panicking and start panicking. I am not one that does

Disappointing hospital visit
I’m absolutely gutted. I asked to see the specialist endo that was on the list of endos provided by thyroid UK and I didn’t get to see him. I’m hypo following RAI in 2011 and my health has got much worse within last couple of years or so. Last test results in the photo. (B12 range 200-900) So apparently

So lost
Can anyone recommend how or where to even start when it comes to not letting anxiety and depression take over my life. I have hit a very low and I don’t know how to climb my way out. I’ve tried lots of ways to be happy and for some reason I can’t. I feel alone bc no one else is in my head to understand

Starting ADHD treatment at age 17 ?
We didn't have a neuropsych eval done with our Guatemalan adopted son until the end of his freshman year in high school due to increasing struggles with school work. Diagnosis ADHD. We opted to work with a private tutor and executive functioning coach during sophomore year and we all got through it

At 66 my wife found out she had an overactive thyroid. After four+ years with a specialist hospital department, they decided she could no longer have the medicine it was harmful long term, after changing the dose she went into a bad way and they offered a nuclear tablet solution, it would work between
