Amino acids and creatine
Personally I am very angry that my neurologist has not told me anything about amino acids or
Creatine
.
Creatine
is actually made up of three amino acids anyway! In fact, I am so annoyed with my neurologist I am thinking of cutting the cord and going it alone.

My bun/
creatine
ration improved since 2 months ago, but my ast tripled, even though I am losing weight. Alt slightly lowered. For those of you who are familiar with liver disease, please let me know what you think. I have little to no symptoms of cirrhosis.

Does anyone take creatine monohydrate?
My neurologist told me I should take it and a few other things. What kind of benefit are you noticing if any?

keto acid supplementation?
I am trying to keep my kidney function from decreasing (currently eGFR 57 with
creatine
high normal .96) so I’m considering this.

New FND research on neuro chemicals...it’s not in our heads. There is a basis & future treatment hopefully to follow...
Researches used magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) to evaluate N-acetylaspartate (NAA) levels; myo-inositol (MI) levels; choline (Cho) levels; the sum of glutamate and glutamine (Glx); and
creatine
(Cr) content in two brain regions of patients with FMS and compared those results to results obtained

GFR drop from 66 to 48 in 10 months. Very Concerned.
I also supplement with
Creatine
, Protein powder, BCAA’s, etc. My PCP assured my that my slightly “elevated” Creatinine levels were consistent with my build. Fast foward to approximately 4 weeks ago. Labs redone. GFR down to 48, Creatinine 1.6, BUN 16 and BUNCR 10.

After stopping creatine supplementation, did people find that there GFR increased significantly?
However another gp has suggested stopping
creatine
supplementation for 3 weeks, drinking lots of water and reducing protein intake and then redoing the bloods to see how my kidney function is. Has anyone experienced gfr to then dramatically increase after stopping
creatine
supplementation?

(2)Is injecting excess
creatine
into someone typical? I’d like to know how typical or atypical this is. (3)Will the
creatine
injection make me sick, nauseous, fatigued, faint or anything else?

Creatine levels
I am on week 4 post transplant and my
creatine
level is still not at normal range. My last
creatine
was 163, which is still not at normal range. The normal range is below 100. Has anyone gone through this after 4 weeks. When will the
creatine
go to normal level?
