After a heart attack 2 years ago..ive returned to keepi g fit..is it ok to take supplements such as creatine..online says that it iss safe and aids heart recovery..anyone know more?

Creatine will cause your body to retain water. Although it may be perfectly safe for some, I would suggest caution because with the water retention it may elevate your blood pressure. It's for that reason why I would recommend not taking this supplement.

Hello and welcome to the forum! The benefits of creatinine are open to debate but it is known that it can cause fluid retention, may cause kidney damage and may tip you over the edge into diabetes. You should get enough from a healthy balanced diet if it contains lean meat and fish. If you still want to go ahead run it past your GP as he knows your detailed medical history.
