Early CKD 3A
Hi Zelda,
Welcome to our community! Stage 3 CKD is a mild to moderate loss of renal function. Proteinuria is a concern and needs following up. We all should excrete creatinine as this is the waste product of muscles. But the indicator for anything being unusual would be to have a Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) or estimated GFR (eGFR) test done. Creatinine clearance is affected by age, sex, muscle mass etc so is not a reliable indicator of kidney disease. You need to have a discussion with your GP about your concerns, and he/she should consider regular blood tests and possibly a referral to a kidney specialist. Here is some more information about kidney blood tests, and chronic kidney disease.

Hey,
it is good that you are in 3A, did the doctor find the cause of the damage?, if you can control the cause it would be much better.
In my opinion you should demand more information from your doctor on this or go see a specialist. CKD should not be taken causually and with early detection and right treatment plan you can hopefully avoid getting it worse.
