RLS & more
Another irritant for me while trying to sleep is I have sleep apnea, and have to use a
CPAP
machine. So if the RLS doesn't get me the sleep apnea usually does.

Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, probable ARDS and SEVERE anxiety
For the first week she managed to breathe by herself in a
CPAP
hood. She has claustrophobia and this was so isolating from her. Mum has control issues and ahe was extremely demanding towards staff.

Sleep or lack of!!
We use essential oils to pulse spots,
CPAP
for his sleep apnea. I give painkillers and antihistamines to reduce pain and itching. He listens to sleep meditation tape. We use a conveen twice a week but he can not tolerate this in bed and rips it off ( ouch) so he gets up at least 2hrly to pee.

Has anyone else got "floppy airways"?
I understand the basis of the condition and know that treatment can be using a
Cpap
machine. It came from nowhere. One month I could walk up a hill next month I'm struggling on small slopes. I'm 41 years old, happily married mum to three labradors.

Is RLS / PLMS really the cause of all my problems ?
To confuse things even more, I have Sleep Apnea but it is controlled well with a
CPAP
machine which I have used consistently every night for years.

Sleep Apnea and Diabetes?
Can you tell me about what it was like having sleep apnea and diabetes at the same time and if a
CPAP
provided relief? Thanks This article goes into deeper detail about diabetes and sleep disorders: https://aeroflowinc.com/how-to-stop-sleep-apnea-and-diabetes-from-teaming-up/

Newly diagnosed and treating ADHD
I do have sleep apnea so I started using a
CPAP
and we've made a lot of tweaks but it never helped my daytime sleepiness nor did I actually sleep better at night.

2 years since robotic radical prostectomy. Dr Lowe portland or. Constant battle with incontinence. Until now!.
I have conducted a very interesting experiment with my
cpap
machine, when I sleep with it on 99% of the time it's a bone dry night, when I go to sleep and forget or just go to sleep without putting it on, its guaranteed 100% of the time i have a waterworks display in my bed , it's become very simple

CPAP weaning!
I did however have a pacemaker fitted a few years after stopping the
cpap
, then eventually developed PAF last year. My wife noticed the strange breathing again so I was retested and found to have severe apnea! So now have a machine again. Again, I've never noticed any benefit with the
cpap

Weaning off a cpap machine.
Not really an a-fib question but many of us are on C-Pap machines. Has anyone ever been able to wean off their machine? And if so, how did you do it? Thanks irina
