CPAP
I started using one too, I found it easier to get used to sleep with one than I had expected. It might take a few weeks before the sleep team gets your settings right, I would suggest keeping a little sleep diary for the first few weeks and let your sleep specialist know about headaches etc. I’m having much better quality sleep now, it’s worth the effort. Good luck 😴
Thank you for your reply. I'm determined to make it work I've been feeling ill for so long and I have alot of heart problems which I'm hoping might improve. That's good advice about a sleep diary thanks.
Im not sure what heart problems you have but my heart is beating much calmer at night now that I’m using cpap, I’m not sure what mask you got with your cpap, I started with a nose mask and am using nose pillows now, I find it more comfortable. If you have problems with dryness you can ask your sleep specialist about a humidifier. There are lots of options out there, just give it time until you figure out what is right for you. I have found the sleep team at my hospital very supportive.
Let me know how you are getting on. I hope you will reap the benefits in no time.
