What do you think?
When my right wrist hurt I asked for a
Cortisone
injection which worked great. She said adrenal crisis is very dangerous and it's possible my adrenals will never work again. I just don't know what to think. I don't want to take pred for the rest of my life and I don't think increasing has helped.

Subacromial impingment (shoulder pain)
(Oh, incidentally I have also had three
cortisone
injections in the shoulder which provided only short-term relief and I am reluctant to have any more.)

Had 4
cortisone
spine injections before the 30 and 6.4 and wonder if really was higher. Esr went back to 10 and cpr .9 after two days pred last week. Pred is killing me but I worry about stopping. It’s a dilemma. What to do ? Haven’t talked to rheum about results yet.

Morning, it is snowing 😲😲
Morning all, apologies, not been well for the past 48 hours, not covid 19 you will be pleased to know, just horrendous tiredness, headaches, temperature drops which necessitate getting in bed and sleeping (35.3 degrees) and funnily enough a nose bleed each morning. I suffer from an under active thyroid

WRIST FUSION
Doctor did a
Cortisone
shot to see about settling it down however it didn't work, Now seeing the new MRI it shows the bone moving down is on fire and the bottom area is cracked off. A total fusion is necessary from my Doctor, He suggested a second opinion so I am doing that.

Pooling and cortisol
Hi. Did anyone experience pooling T3? Was it due to high or low cortisol? How did you level your cortisol? I heard that magnesium is good for it. I believe I'm pooling T3. My level in the blood is over range, but I don't think it's going to the cells as I'm not feeling slightly better for the moment

Another way of treating PMR?
Hi I saw a Cardiologist this week who mentioned that there is a method of treating PMR that does not involve
cortisone
. Does anyone know anything about this? I am very disappointed that after 10 months of treatment with
cortisone
the PMR in my blood is exactly the same as it was last February.

Cortisol blood test HIGH
I got my blood cortisol levels checked this week & the results came back today. Cortisol = 907.000 nmol/L Range (113 - 456) What does that mean & should I get further testing done? It seems very high.

Bursitis and Groin Pain
I went for an ultrasound guided
cortisone
injection and an appointment was made to see my hip surgeon just to check that was all ok. The injection didn’t work. The hip surgeon said up the pred it will sort out the bursitis. The hip is sound. He asked who managed my PMR and I said me.

Severe Leg Cramps after Cortisone Shots
I'm having severe leg shin & muscle cramps since
Cortisone
injections in my lower back & neck. Some lasted up to 30 minutes. I have started taking magnesium supplements to alleviate the pain but it upsets my stomach. I'm not getting anymore

Feeling a bit apprehensive
Tuesday I’ve got
cortisone
injections in facet joints in my lower back, which I had done 12 years ago successfully. (Can’t wait as I’m in so much pain can hardly walk at times) Waiting on an appointment to get a smear under general anaesthetic as my cervix has closed!
