Severe Leg Cramps after Cortisone Shots

I'm having severe leg shin & muscle cramps since Cortisone injections in my lower back & neck. Some lasted up to 30 minutes. I have started taking magnesium supplements to alleviate the pain but it upsets my stomach. I'm not getting anymore Cortisone shots!

Eat Bananas!They have magnesium, potassium & calcium...all good to relieve muscle cramps.

Just watch all the professional tennis players munching away!

And try eating avocados, cashew nuts and the latter with salt on in case your sodium levels are low. These are good sources of magnesium, as too are leafy green vegetables and tuna.

I’ve started getting leg cramps in the night and the above were recommended by my physio when I saw her today.

It must be the weather Lola I’ve just started getting leg cramp at night which I have never had before .....so I’m munching away on bananas!

Potassium supplements (or a couple banana's a day) and drink lots of water!

Steroids in the body can really dehydrate you!
