please look at my new test results from my surgery and Medichecks
Results from my Surgery and medichecks. My ferritin has consistently been elevated over the years, but my Dr refuses to take any notice of this. Around the end of 2021, I was put on 25mg of levothyroxine because the last TSH test at my surgery was about 5.2. I had to be quite adamant with the Dr

WARFARIN INR AND SHOULDER INJECTIONS
G'day guys and dolls ....... well at long, long last I am to have my guided
cortisone
injection into my right shoulder on Friday 1 April. I am planning to stop Warfarin on Sunday night ( being the day of my last dose) in order to get my INR down to around 1.2 or 1.3 by the Friday.

New blood results - Levo & T3 advice.
Hi all, I could use some advice with my latest results since my last post as now the surgery have messaged me for a dose reduction as they are saying I'm overactive now. I'm pretty sure i'm not, I don't feel over in the slightest, in fact I feel I could use a touch more T3 but I'm not sure if I should

Covid, severe arythymia, hypoglycaemia, Low cortisone ??? NOW SEEM TO BE RUNNING ALOW GRADE / HAVING A FLARE FEVER
Hi all UPDATE: I have felt quite poorly since yesterday afternoon again - feel like I have a low grade fever (but I have a very low body temp naturally - Hypothyroidism - and so doctors always say it’s ok) I feel inflamed all over. Did wonder if I was having a flare - there are some tell tale signs

This morning I woke up again wearing my wrist brace to help with an increasing pain in my right wrist tendon. last summer it had started and I had to wait until September before I got the magical pain relieving shot of
cortisone
. (I also got a shot into my left thumb for a trigger finger).

Hi everybody, I am new to this forum
GP said that the only way forward, apart from exercise, would be
cortisone
injections in the knees. Has anybody any experience of this and how long does the effect last? Thanks for any advice.

Low Cortisol
So I'm on Long-term Prednisolone and I'm at 5mg. Had a cortisol test at 9am with no pred on board and found out I have low cortisol. What are the next steps?

New member, but not new to RA
Hiya, My name is Evy and I am a 41 year old woman who lives in Belgium with her 2 cats. I am a member of some running communities here on HealthUnlocked and thought to join this group too. I have been diagnosed with RA early 2013, when I was 32 years old, after struggling with pains in hands and feet

Hashimotos fatigue
I was given Novothyral 2 years ago by a FM doc but recent tests showed antibodies so saw an endocrinologist. She diagnosed hashimotos but said the Novothyral dose isn’t right. I started taking levothyroxine straight away about 2 weeks ago but I’m still waiting for my order of T3 to come through, since

Thyroid Results dating 1988 onwards. Comments welcome.
Fell ill 1987 and was diagnosed chronic fatique/m.e. Currently I believe I have central hypothyroidism and hashimoto's running concurrently. Had auto immune attack on thyroid at end of June 2021. Have thyroid Perioxidase antibodies showing 13.3.20 and 24.2.22. Thyroid readings for central hypo suggest

I am confused
Hi ! Long story short, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2018. There was a time where the levels where back to normal and I weaned off my med. But I got my first relapse last year, although now my levels are good (per April 2022) and only require 1 x 5 mg Carbimazole. I complained to my Endo that

Stress and cortisol levels
Hi all, I'm just wondering if someone can give me a rough overview of what happens to cortisol levels in times of stress please? When I get very stressed I get dizzy and lightheaded. Just recently I had two episodes of dizziness which seemed to come from nowhere, while I was sitting. My understanding

Am I going barmy?
Hi all. I posted before about synacthen test, and I've finally had my result and thyroid results. So I had the synacthen test on 11 May, my baseline cortisol at 9.15am was 163 nmol/l, but my adrenal glands acted normally to the synthetic hormone so they're ruling out adrenal dysfunction. I asked is

Hi I'm new and looking for advice please.
9am cortisol 150. Passed a SST with over 500 peak. Endo consultant said my thyroid was 'borderline underactive' but I don't have any actual reading of anything for that. My growth hormone is slightly high but I passed a suppression test. So I've been discharged because I'm fine. However I don't feel

Adrenal fatigue - very low Cortisol
Hello fellow companions on the PMR/GCA journey. If anyone has had experience with very very low Cortisol levels I would appreciate hearing from you. I will be seeing an Endocrinologist in August but I am really suffering with extreme fatigue and muscle weakness and pain.

Has anyone successfully used Dr. Peatfield´s Adrenal Fatigue protocol?
I´d hate the idea of having to take prescription
cortisone
for the rest of my life. I like Dr. P´s approach, that is, to nurture the adrenal glands back to health. He considered adrenal fatigue a reversible condition in all but the most severe cases.
