Further problems with allergy - what to do?
He prescribed
cortisone
and antihistamine. The
cortisone
gradually brought the inflammation down and after about 8 days I no longer woke up in the morning with a red and hot face . Until then I would wake up like that and then after breakfast would take the
cortisone
and it would disappear.

Menopause and RA
Hello girls, After two years of being in menopause, I had bleeding again, it coincided with 3 days after having applied a
cortisone
injection (diprospan). Does anyone have a similar experience with this medication or with another of the common ones to treat RA?

Is it RLS or something else?
I had a
cortisone
injection in the right hip in March 2022 (was not on Lexarpro at the time) , and it settled a few weeks after that. A placebo effect, maybe? My Anxiety got bad again in June 2022, so I begun 10mg on Lexarpro again. What I think is RLS slowly crept up on me again.

I am still on

and antihistamines but after 6 days am beginning to feel better. It is worrying though , and I cannot help thinking 'what next?'. My inclination is to think that the Ibrutinib could be making me ever more sensitive.

Blacklist for T3
I'm currently under an endocrinologist, we discussed possible treatment also looking at other reasons why I'm tired(especially in afternoons) plus other usual symptoms associated with hypothyroidism, I've Ords & anti bodies & Doi2 deficiency. Currently on 100/125mcg alternate so far so good. In July

Update- Finally Met with Pain Clinic
SFN is treatable in some cases with for example
cortisone
so I hope it's not too late for treatment. The team recommended three things: I switch my gp, meet another neurologist and switch the awful pregabalin to amytriptaline.

Prednisone and fatigue
I realize this is just my experience and I don't know if there's any scientific data behind it but in case this might help someone I wanted to post it. I apparently have become castrate resistant and have restarted Abiraterone about 4 months ago. This is my second time I've been on Abi and this time

Advice on raising NDT
Following on from my post on 26/02/24, my symptoms got worse (increased number of anxiety attacks and unable to cope with pain in head/neck and upper back) and the GP didn't have any ideas, so I saw a thyroid specialist recommended by thyroid UK in April. The doctor had my blood tests done and these

advice on synacthen test
for anyone who has been following my story they will know I’ve been having medication issues and I am now taking T3 only. Still having issues with weight gain. Spoke to my endocrinologist last week and she has agreed the increase to 40mcg. This was after she had suggested trying a small dose of levothyroxine
