Feel Terrible - Any Advice Please?
I'm weaning onto Armour Thyroid, guided by a doctor. I've been raising my dose by only 1/4 grain every 2 weeks, this slowly because I have low cortisol. The first two raises I had a few days of feeling jittery but this calmed with the help of taking ashwagandha and taurine. I reached 60mg last Sunday

Advice on new results (Armour)
Hello, I don't know what else to do. I have been trying so hard and I feel today that this is it, it won't get better. Resigned I went to do my bloods this morning and here are my results on 2.5 grains on Armour: FT4 32% FT3 63% I had to test at 5 weeks, because of feeling unwell. B12 601 (187-883)

ACTH Cortisol test enquiry
Afternoon all I had an ACTH test done at the request of my GP because my early morning blood cortisol test was 133 (ref 113 - 532). I am attaching 2 pages of results. The consultant says I'm fine but I want to run it past folk on here because I'm not so sure. I certainly don't feel fine. I don't understand

Pain in right hand
I'm currently tapering from a flare of ulcerative colitis. I've managed to get to 11mg and hoping to get to 7.5mg. I was splitting my dose 6am and 2pm but I've got incredible pain in my fingers on my right hand and they swell up and down too. A little swelling in my left hand but no pain. I decided to

Are RT3 and DI02 test really necessary for me, as the practitioner suggests?
I recently had a consultation with a lovely practitioner recommended by Tanya (who is fully booked) via a kind tip off from radd I am posting my query as I know Radd prefers this to PM’s, also interested to hear others views please. All went okay (although didn’t learn anything new), but off

how my appointment went -with results
I saw a professor who is on the ‘list’ he performed lots of tests. MRI all normal. Thyroid bloods in my profile from Nov jan TSH 0.58 and FT4 11.5 same ranges as previous. we went back to through my bloods since 2017 it seems my TSH and FT4 always waiver between 0.35-1 and FT4 no more than 12.

#2 Update: Adrenal Testing
This afternoon (12.45) I had the blood draw for: Adrenal auto-antibodies, Aldosterone, Renin, Potassium & Sodium. I've also had a short Synacthen test. Stop The Thyroid Madness (For better, for worse) insist that salt is restricted the day before Aldosterone testing and that the arm is held at a perpendicular

I carry and emergency injection kit of
cortisone
. I hope I never have to use it. I had a follow up cardiology appointment on January 4th this year. I was told I needed open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve. Quite a shock that was. June 11 th I had the surgery.

Adrenal suppression
I’ve been using Fostair 200/6 and Spriva Respimat for around 15 months. Recently went to see GP for an unrelated issue which required blood tests. Results indicated very low cortisol levels. I’ve been referred to local hospital for further investigation. In the meantime my research has revealed a causal

Buprenorphine affect cortisol levels?
Hello RLS colleagues Some of you may remember that I was prescribed a low dose of Buprenorphine to alleviate my (almost) lifelong RLS last year. Before that I was prescribed Oxycodone for a year or so. The Buprenirphine works well and completely covers my RLS. I was diagnosed with ME/CFS 2 years
