should I have my covid booster now
Hello Everyone, I wonder if any of you would have an opinion on the following. I have had 5 vaccinations and boosters for Covid. And although I had no response at all to the first three, there has been a good response to the last two. I had my last booster in May. End of June I think I may have a

Am I Relapsing
I was diagnosed by GP with PMR Aug 2019. Started with 15 mg pred got down to 3 by November 2021 then had a relapse. Extreme fatigue major symptom. Saw Rheumi who confirmed PMR put back to 10 mg Dec 2021 with the advice of trying MTX in May this year. Said I’d prefer to try reducing again but slowly

Hope this isn't Covid!
Sunday I had very sore throat and took some Night Nurse cold remedy before I went to bed. Tested clear for Covid. I slept well but my throat was still sore. I tested again and still clear. Got up this morning and my throat is not as sore but I coughed all night. Still testing clear. I don't feel ill

reoccurring illnesses.
I’m a 31 year old male just looking to see if what I am currently going through is normal. This may not seem a huge problem to some people because I am only talking about common colds and viruses here but any info will be appreciated. So I am 31yo male, fairly healthy, not obese non smoker. Since

Pacing ourselves: the Visible app
Very interesting article about a new app - Visible, which is an activity tracker but geared towards illness rather than fitness, mainly, but not exclusively for people suffering from Long Covid but also living with conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome...and I would say probably applicable to

PMR & INFLUENZA
Hi...I've had the flu (not Covid) for about 10 days at this point. I don't know what to expect in terms of will it last longer due to PMR and the autoimmune aspect? I've never had so much mucus and phlegm, but at least it's loose. I can fill at least 3 tissues in one blow of the nose. Makes one wonder

Is it reallyCOPD?
Hi, I might be in denial but something seems weird to me. In september 2021 I had pretty nasty covid. My oxygen levels were always good and I didnt have any super big problems with breathing, however I had nasty cough that lingered even after covid was gone. I had a chest xray that showed some scarring

Flare?
Greetings from West Michigan, USA. I was diagnosed with PMR/GCA 3.5 years ago. I have not been treated for any flares with these diseases but have gone up and down with prednisone due to infections that did not respond to antibiotics alone. The lowest dose of prednisone I was on was 2mg. I am currently

How long to wait before having Covid & flu jabs?
Good day. I came out of hospital once again yesterday afternoon, my third admission in less than 2months. Because of this I missed having my flu jab & my Covid booster(my 6th jab). I asked the hospital doctor if I could get them done now but he said no & that I need to wait 6 weeks before getting them

Hello! I would like some advice and support/reassurance about my current situation. I had pericarditis a year and a half ago following Covid which resolved completely. COVID booster severe reaction
Tuesday, 22nd November 2022, 18:30, I received my first ever COVID booster, I got my first COVID job last year? Then I felt I'd been hit by a double decker bus, the symptoms lasted 24 hours, with mild flu like symptoms, sleeping for most of the time, only waking the odd time for a drink to wet my whistle

Vitamin D dosage
Thank you to all those who answered my question about taking a large dose of Vitamin D to avoid covid and other viruses during the winter. I have read them all very carefully and have decided to stick with the dose in my 2 Calcichew per day. I had Covid in August, felt ill, but not terrible for 2 days

UK members - Act now to stop the proposed withdrawal of vital COVID medicines!
Harvist and others reported a few days ago the announcement by NICE of a cull in the various COVID medicines approved for NHS use. As a result, the options for treating immunocompromised individuals with COVID soon after symptoms appear, thereby avoiding progression, would be reduced to just one antiviral
