I had covid at Christmas. I wasn't to bad thankfully due to the vaccines.

I am however struggling post covid.

I was wondering how long it has taken anybody else to get back to 'our normal '

Would be grateful for any advice.

Are you thinking you might have Long Covid? I have it. Am recovering now but have had symptoms since June last year. It’s very similar to Lupus so thought I was having a flare at first. Only remaining symptom now is fatigue

Thank you for your response.

I have seen my doctor this morning who has said that I have an infection and has put me on antibiotics, hopefully these will help.

I hope the antibiotics do the trick. Antihistamine also helped me a lot - I see someone else has mentioned this. Something to bear in mind.

hi JCZW. Without knowing your prolonged symptoms it’s difficult to help. Mostly as it has been quite a long time, I would see your Doctor/Rheumatologist? I Had Covid in July for 6 weeks. My husband travels and now he has it again and so do I. I dread possibility of long Covid. Because I have EM/Erythromyalgia I was prescribed venlafaxine off label and low dose mirtazipine at night off label. These are antidepressants but used of course for other ailments especially pain. The meds did though help my mood even though I was sick. Best to you MrsMarigold

have you taken a daily dose of antihistamine, that was the only thing that took the edge of my symptoms.
