How many days can I miss my Ticagrelor, 2 months after HA & stent?
My cardiologist has changed my prescription from ticagrelor to something else (I think he said clopidogrel). Unfortunately between delays his end & now delays at the GP surgery the pharmacist still hasn't had the prescription. I've got one day left of my ticagrelor and I've left messages with the GP

Is My Resting Heart Rate Too Low?
Hi First time poster here. I am 62 had an angioplasty following a heart attack last month, with a single stent being fitted. I was reasonably fit through walking beforehand, and have been enjoying daily walks since the procedure, gradually building up my range on the flat, so I am very pleased at what

What really happened?
Apologies in advance for this ramble on something which is probably not a very comfortable topic on this forum but it's something I have been wondering about for some time and I just thought I'd ask you guys for any thoughts you may have. In August 2022 I had an angiogram which didn't go well and resulted

Weakness after radiation
Hello! I am here for Dad. He just completed twenty rounds of radiation.. but not without complications. He had several bouts of extreme afib, heart attack, and low platelets. Since having another stent, new AFib meds, and two units of blood he has completed radiation but it's still so very weak. He's

Hi I'm due to come off clopidogrel next month after my second stent was fitted in November 2022. I have just had a back procedure and had to come off clopidogrel for 7 days prior and 5 days off it I started to get angina. It lasted 3 days then stopped (as I went back on clopidogrel after the op on day

Post cabg.2- 16wk recovery review
I recovered well, no issues, but my cardio was very slow, and this annoyed me because pre op i was quite fit.I didn't want the op and didn't believe i needed it.Plus i was scared. The surgeon wanted a four way and i definitely wasn't having that.I said i don't want it to to fail, not two years in or ten

Depression ?
5 years now since bypass surgery, and my depression (if that's what it is) is getting worse. Nothing ever phased me before CABG, but now... I find myself crying at something sad on tv. I find myself crying at something happy on tv ! I find myself crying in a restaurant or pub, for no apparent reason

Stent after Ross Konno procedures
hi! Im 41, and have had a major heart ops (13 years ago with Ross Konno procedures). Unfortunately my heart is leaking and staged moderate. Monitored annually, carefully. Has anyone had Ross Konno procedures and what kind of stent did you had for your leaky heart? How long your stent lasts for? Will

Dapagliflozin side effects
I had a heart attack and stent fitted over Christmas 2022 and have been on a cocktail of drugs since then but feel in good health. I went for a follow up angioplasty a couple of months ago and it was found that the heart attack had caused permanent damage to my heart (apparently now only 30% efficient

Urgent cardiologist appt tomorrow, any tips?
Hello, I've been in and out of a&e with leg & chest pain, lightheadedness, high BP 4 times this past 8 weeks since my HA & stent. So I've had an urgent referral to the cardiologist to start the process to see if I have unstable angina & possible vascular issues in my leg. I've got my list of questions

Chest wall pain
I am 6 months post NSTEMI and one stent. Generally functioning and walking lots but have near constant chest discomfort, not sure I would call it pain as such. It is nothing to do with exertion. In fact it tends to go away if I walk or run. Also goes away after a bath or if very relaxed. I am feeling

two heart attacks
I had my first heart attack aged 46 and the second one at 50. On both occasions I had to have a stent fitted. The heart attacks were mainly back pain and breathlessness. Iam ok physically after cardiac rehab but iam struggling emotionally. I am just unsure about work I am a primary teacher and don

Mystified and baffled.
New to this thought my breathlessness was to do with my heart after having a stent fitted 2yrs ago or even the meds in on.I had lung function tests in July results are now back as I can't get to see my g.p.yet does anyone know what these results mean. Hospital advise inhalers and rehab. Obstructive lung

My recovery has been perfect- apart from being breathless or exhausted upon relatively small exertion.Today i carried a tv upstairs and was panting like a dog, later on my walk i was breathing heavily on every incline. shoulder and back pain following CABG
I had a triple CABG 8 weeks ago now. I am finding it difficult to get back to moral activity because my shoulders ache and I have a strong ache between my shoulder blades at the top of my back. I kinda expected these aches in the early days because of positioning and trauma during surgery, But was not
