It’s not all your fault!
I notice a lot of people post on here say that it was all their own fault they needed heart ops… I’m 62, always ate healthy, walked every day and had a cholesterol of 3.7, I was a couple of stone overweight but other than than no health issues, I had a stent 12 years ago but was told that particular

Atherectomy
Two months ago I posted about the decision to have a bypass when suffering from HF. I had major blockages in all three arteries which could not be stented normally. The cardiologists made the decision for me on the basis that a CABG was too risky for me.. They suggested an Atherectomy on the main artery

Cardiac rehabilitation
I had a heart attack and stent fitted in April and the hospital staff were absolutely amazing. Since my discharge things changed drastically no cardiac rehabilitation classes just a few odd phone calls. Made an appointment with my GP for a meds review in June and the earliest telephone appointment

Hello
I have survived three heart attacks, been stented, had
angioplasty
and a
coronary
artery bypass graft to the the superior side of my heart as the inferior side was too badly damaged for a graft to be viable. In addition I am type two diabetic and have COPD.

Looking to meet local friend in Burgess Hill with similar medical history
Hello, This is my first post. I am 52 and had pain in my throat last year which was diagnosed as unstable angina led to a stent last September swiftly followed by two strokes. All came like a bolt out of the blue and although I am well now, I would like to speak to someone of a similar age as it was

Just joined, found you by accident!
I'm from Northern Ireland. I had a heart attack in 2016, a stent fail in 2019 and an unexplained issue in 2020 - spent a week in hospital with a slightly elevated Troponin level (very slight but higher than my usual) and chest pain. I wouldn't allow an angiogram due to the horrible experience I had when

breathing issues
Hi I am here due to my long term partner last year woke up one morning and said to me "my breathing is off" little did we know that from that day to today we would be on a journey that has completely turned us up side Down. To keep a year long story short after being diagnosed with cvd with 70% in one

Worried - Ureter blockage
Ureter blockage due to Radiotherapy damage 37 years ago is causing Kidney damage . Stent was unsuccessful and Surgeon now thinking Nephrostomy which is a tube going from your kidney to a bag. Totally debilitating . Has any one had any alternatives for the same problem ?

New here, cabg’ed
I’m new here. Cabg x 5 about 7 weeks ago. Dropped the codeine after about 2 weeks (weird dreams!) and slowly reading paracetamol. Following the advice, slowing increasing duration, not intensity of walking and only real problem is drain holes (2 of 3) not healing properly and starting a steroid cream
