Just wondering if anyone else out here has had this diagnosis? My husband has been diagnosed this week, his pancreas is now barely functioning at all, so mimicking Type 1. Care has been quite slow, as it seems quite rare, not often seen by GP, likewise patients with Liver Transplant! They always seem quite nervous with his care.Anyway, he's now being referred to secondary care at the hospital so we are feeling positive there will be improvement in the management of his blood sugars.

Needless to say, we are still thankful at the chance of life his donor gave him, we are heading towards the first anniversary and although recovery has been slow and challenging, we still get moments of joy when he achieves things he just couldnt do a year ago.

Xx
