**Last Update** Covid - Help!
For those who've had Covid at some point, when did your symptoms go away and did you need professional medical treatment for that to happen? My son was formally diagnosed on 9/18, and I developed symptoms the following day. I didn't bother getting tested. He was barely sick for about 3 days, but I've

Finished Venetoclax, then Covid
My doctor prescribed Venetoclax after two rounds of chemo/immuno infusions to fight CLL. I felt great! Swimming half a mile, felt strong. Then bronchitis, pneumonia, and Covid. Was hospitalized and released in 6 days. But my home convalescence is not what I expected. Weakness, coughing, general severe

Does RA exist in the hips?
I've had fibromyalgia for around 20 years so am familiar with the symptoms. RA was diagnosed 4 years ago and I am now on Sarilumab jabs. I had a terrible flare around 4 weeks ago and couldn't get through to Rheumatology by any means. The pain in my hips was like fire and I had no real sleep for 2

Do I increase Pred to cover me for Covid jab?
I'm very anxious about having a Covid booster as I believe the vaccines precipitated my PMR early last year. I was advised (by consultant) not to have the 2002 autumn booster as I had some immunity from catching Covid itself but he has said to have the booster this year as it is now 15 months since my

Fatigue..again...Moderna jab?
Hello everyone. Reduced to 2.75, working slowly towards 2.5. Back from lovely break in Ireland tracing my roots. Had Moderna jab, aching arm and headache, then, coincidentally, full flu, nose like a tap, cough etc. Altho some neighbours had flu and not the jab. Cold symptoms finally going after 2 weeks

Small Airways Disease
I had an infection the end of Jan (still not sure what it was - maybe RSV). Didn’t really start like a cold but airways closed up & excessive mucus. Mucus tested & nothing so no antibiotics. Things slowly got worse, although I was continuing to exercise to clear my chest of mucus (my primary issues is

Off topic? Stravinsky Study
Hi folks Just in case anyone fancies being involved in a research study. I tried to attach the poster but failed miserably so resorted to copy/paste of the information.
We are conducting a study to determine whether an antibody test result can predict who has the greatest risk of severe COVID-19

Flare after covid
I’ve had a fairly mild dose of covid, and lots of stress with a leaking roof, which has caused a flare. I’ve been on prednisolone since early July after waiting six months for a diagnosis. I started on 20mg and had reduced to 12.5 without much pain but that has returned. I’ve taken 15mg for two days

Immunoglobin Blood Test.
Hello everyone. I had the Covid booster 2 weeks ago. I had an appointment booked for blood tests 4 days later. These were to rule in or out the cause of Osteopenia - low bone density mass.I now have Covid. Nurse rang me with blood test results yesterday and said they were normal apart from the Immunoglobin

Trimbow inhaler
I have read a few people having symptoms of a soar mouth, bleeding and thrush etc from this inhaler or steroid inhalers and wanted to share a tip I had . Use a spacer , never suck in hard as the medicine will hit the back of your throat and not go down your windpipe to your lungs , take the second inhalation

Slow burn flare, following latest Covid vaccine.
It started with extreme fatigue - unable to keep my eyes open. Now I am finding it hard to walk and have significant back, knee, neck and head pain. A complete eye Heath check where nothing of concern was found yesterday required 2 hours sleep to recover. I am doubling my 5 mgs dose to do sick day rules

Covid Jab.
I've had my covid jab on 12/10/23.I'm alive ( yaaaaaay) , however like the previous jabs this one too has slowed me down too & it takes 48hrs for me to get back to normal & it's no different from having the flu jab. To me it's worth my life & I can now focus on getting over the hurdle of me getting reacquainted

Left Ventricle?
Hi..had an echocardiogram yesterday and the radiologist is referring me to the cardeologist because she said she can't tell if my left ventricle is operating at optimal capacity...right away I'm spooked by this...since lockdown in 2020 I've gone from 4-5 days of 45 mins on the treadmill and moderate
