Dealing with endo after children in late thirties
hi there I’m 37 and had two children via IVF when I was 33 and 35. I have stage 4 recto vaginal endometriosis and had a bowel resection and temporary stoma when I was 31 before starting IVF. Now I’m finished having children, I’ve gone back on the pill and run it back to back to prevent periods. I’m

Si Joint/back pain
Hi I have a history of back pain and endometriosis. I recently turned 50 and leading up to my period my si joint pain has suddenly got worse and it all goes into spasms and I literally can't do a lot. It's not great the rest of the month either. I had linked it to the menopause or back issues but

Dienogest
My gynae dr moved me from Cerelle
contraception
to Dienogest as that apparently prevents the growth of endometriosis… I had my laparoscopy surgery in Nov 2021 which confirmed what I said all my life as a young girl to a grown adult- I have endometriosis.

Laparoscopy
Hi, Cut a long story short - I need some help I have being experiencing pain with my lower abdomen and pelvic pains leading up to my period since coming off the pill a year and half later and finally got referred to a gynaecologist. I’ve had a MRI and they said they couldn’t see much evidence of endometriosis

support in raising concerns with GP
Every appointment I attend, I am greeted with you need to take
contraception
, and you need to lose weight. My diet and activity levels are not bad, but I struggle to lose more than 5lbs, but again, the GP does not appear bothered with this.

Thyroid Results
Curious…aside from high in range TSH are these frees pretty euthyroid? These were taken before starting thyroid medication. Negative for both antibodies. I’m coming around to the idea that I’ve been misdiagnosed as thyroid medication makes me feel worse. Off meds my TSH can vary from 8-4 within

periods on mirena but no pain
I’ve had 2 laps for endo, have tri cycled the pill and been on tablets such as naproxen. Ive been so luckily that having the coil fitted during my 2nd lap has majorly improved pain and quality of life. I’ve had it for a year and bit and I’m on my 5th period. My dilemma is it’s pain free but how much

Anyone here who never started their periods?
I’m 32 and never had a natural period and didnt establish any periods at all as a teen. I’ve been on and off the pill for years and my physical health declines in a scary way off the contraceptive pill. This has all been brushed aside as ‘normal’ and blamed on PCOS but it feels like there’s something

Periods after surgery
Hi ladies, I had surgery in September to remove chocolate cysts and endo tissue but for various reasons they didn’t remove all the endo. Before my surgery, my periods were regular – every for weeks. But afterwards the surgeon wanted to stop them to help with the endo and try to prevent future cysts

partial blindness, tremors and migraines from the mini pill
As the title says. 90% of the above symptoms stopped when I stopped using the pill in question. So, for those of you who are predisposed to migraines, what pills have you been able to tolerate better?

hello everyone. It’s been a long time since I posted on here but was just wondering if this is something that anyone anywhere has heard of or experienced? I’ve been taking 6mg of prednisone a day for over 5 years now. This is the absolute lowest dose I can stay at, any lower and I am so unwell I’

Best hormonal contraceptive pill?
Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS (im 23 years old) and am wondering if there's a contraceptive pill that people have found works best if you have PCOS as well as managing acne? I'm worried about the pill contributing to weight gain and making my bowel issues worse. I would really appreciate
