Mirena and spotting
I'm not sure I would have gone for the Mirena if I'd known as I don't need it for
contraception
. Anyone able to advise on how long this is likely to last?

Pro Stap and light bleeding?
Previous cycles I’ve just had the
contraception
pill. I feel really stressed and looked at the leaflet and doesn’t mention about bleeding. is this over before the cycle has even started!

Laproscopy and hysterocopy
I've had so many issues with a variety of
contraception
and really reluctant and not quite ready for a child. Any advice for holistic help or things people have tried and worked would be amazing because I feel very lost.

Hysteroscopy - what to expect? Worried!!!
Scared of mirena too as they may want me to have one, but don't want my pain to increase, and hormonal
contraception
has always made my moods very low. I'm trying to stay calm but getting pretty stressed so any advice welcome.

Begging for correct diagnosis
Back in 2011 I had DVT, at the time I was 23 years old and on
contraception
pill so they concluded that the pill caused it. I stayed on blood thinners for 6 months and then stopped with no problems.

Feeling hopeless
Currently not using any hormonal
contraception
. I live in the U.K. I began getting very heavy and irregular periods about 3 years ago after being regular (but heavy) for years before this.

help please
Recently went back to the doctors about my PCOS and did another pelvic scan (for reference my 5th one) and a blood test again and now they tell me my only options are to go onto
contraception
or try for a baby and I’ll be referred to a gynaecologist. Anyone else have any ideas

Adenomyosis diagnosis journey
After not having any
contraception
for a while and letting my body just get on with what it was doing, I was blessed with a second son. Again it was another miracle. I shouldn't of been able to have one let alone 2 children!

sensitive - surgery, infertility, mentions other people’s pregnancy
My husband and I have been desperate for a baby for 8 years, however, I, unfortunately, have not had a period for 13 years, three of which I was on
contraception
. It just never came back. Shortly after coming off of
contraception
, I was diagnosed with PCOS.

Found out coils are sometimes replaced after 4 yrs instead of 5, when used for managing endo symptoms!
I spoke to the Mirena coil specialist GP at my practice and she mentioned that they're sometimes changed after 4 years instead of 5 when being used for endo symptom management instead of just
contraception

natural cycles for endometriosis
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using hormone-free
contraception
, especially natural cycles. I would like to give it a go but don’t know whether it will make my symptoms worse. Thanks in advance!

hello, so I have been suffering with my periods basically since I started at 14 I’m now 26 I’m being investigated for endometriosis. IBS, possibly menopause, any advice
I am now 45, I stopped taking the mini-pill a year ago, decided I would give my body a rest as I’ve been been on it or
contraception
since I was 17 ( to ease menstrual cycles ) as they were awful.

I’m currently having investigations into Endo-sorry long post but need some advice or any reassurance:)
He said that it’s not right especially at my age, he’s sent a referral (brilliant), I should come in if I have days like those and consider changing my
contraception

TSH going up on Levo?
I take Yasmin
contraception
but take this at night. I’m feeling so fed up and upset that I’ve made absolutely no progress with my levels. Is it worth asking to double my dose? Be referred somewhere? Should I change how I take my levo? Grateful for any insight from anyone.

Untreated hypothyroid and early pregnancy
Checking the NICE guidelines for pregnancy it says I should have been put on
contraception
until they got my levels below 2mlU/L, and then increased dose by 25mcg after a positive pregnancy test. It says if my hypothyroid is untreated I should seek “immediate medical care”.
