Once Hopeful Prostate Cancer Drug Fails Phase II Test
Does anyone have a list of the drugs that were fast tracked for PCa? Might be a good place to look for trials. "RV001 is an immuno-oncologic drug that presents to the immune system as an antigen. It works by stimulating the T-cells to spot and destroy cells that carry the RhoC protein, which is over-expressed

How to determine what is a normal PSA after radiation therapy?
As I understand it, when PCa is treated with radiation therapy, the theory is cancer cells are more vulnerable to radiation because they divide more rapidly than normal cells, and they do not repair damage from radiation, while normal cells can. The situation seems to be complicated if the person has

Husbands turn ?
So after a routine blood test my husband has got a diagnosis of Gleeson 2 and prostate cancer. But it's far from hopeless and he's got hormone pills and radiotherapy will begin in Late July. Nowadays they rarely operate and he's been told he'll die with it but not of it and not yet. The local hospital

New Trial: A Study of CF33-hNIS (VAXINIA), an Oncolytic Virus, as Monotherapy or in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Adults With MAST
As most here know, Immunotherapies have not so far proven to be especially effective in PCa. Here is info on a new viral agent that, while not targeting PCa specifically, is starting clinical trials focused on "Metastatic or Advanced Solid Tumours (MAST)". With 100 participants, it will hopefully

Treatment Plan- I Need Your Ideas...
Hello, My father's PSA value was 24 in February 2022. According to the biopsy results, 8 of 13 foci had a Gleason score of 10. Ga-68 PSMA PET scan revealed metastatic prostate cancer. There was no spread in his bones. Her chemotherapy started in February 2022 and ends in June. He also gets a Zoladex

I learned of my prostate cancer metastasis about ten years ago in 2012, which was four years after radiation therapy to my prostate in 2008, following a urinary blockage and biopsy Gleason 8. Post pelvic radiotherapy issues
Hi, I had 5 sessions of radiotherapy to sacrum, last one on Monday this week. Had a lot of "grumbling" in tummy. Started to experience sharp pain in one side of rectum when opening bowels since yesterday. Stool is soft and it is also painful just passing wind. Been to the toilet 6 times so far today.
