My Mother’s BC
I‘m trying to understand my mother’s treatment for stage I BC. She is 83 y/o and she was diagnosed in May with a 9mm tumor in one of her breasts. With only a scan to mark the tumor, she was sent to a general surgeon to remove the tumor as well as the “Main Breast Lymph Node” in the armpit. Is that normal

Hi, looking for experiences of raised liver enzymes and now jaundice. Background is, I had radiotherapy 5 sessions to Sacrum and chest wall/breast on right side, at the same time, in May this year. Bloods took a dive after the third session (platelets, Hb, lymphs), others like liver function (bilirubin

Hi everyone I’m managing week 1 on Cape ok, bit nausea so far but nothing too drastic. My main issue is still the progression in sacrum which I had 3 radiotherapy sessions for in Nov 2020 and they worked well until a month ago. That’s how my original diagnosis was made for sacrum pain. I now have

Prostate cancer what to do.
I go through the VA system for health care, was diagnosed with PC in April only option at the VA I go to was RP. Ask about radiation treatment urologist really didn't even want to talk about or consider that as an option. I was giving a risk factor of favorable intermediate risk of a 14 core sample all

Prazosin revisited
The sheer beauty of the retrospective study posted recently by Scout4answers is the vast superiority in Recurrence Free Survival for Prazosin users over a ten-year period not only against controls but against a similar drug, Tamsulosin. IMHO this means that selection bias is much less likely. Prazosin

My father is 53 years old. He has metastatic prostate cancer. Therefore, he received 6 rounds of chemotherapy and is using Zoladex. The initial PSA value of 24 is currently undetectable. Update on "How credible is my report"
Finally got an explanation as to why my DCFPyl PET scan was reported as radical prostatectomy and not a prior RT . My GP called the radiology lab (in my presence) and got another Radiologist to review the scans. He confirmed the 4 'uptakes' and said he could understand the initial radiologist interpretation
