Advice Please
Hi everyone, 3 Years ago I fell off a loft ladder and had very mild
concussion
. 3 months later I had a series of blows to the back of my head. I started to develop a heavy feeling at the back of my head/top of neck.

Still recovering from the
concussion
, dr says it could take a month. Best part of the rebooked travel, our cancelled flight turned into a first class ticket for the UK to US leg. It was an awards miles flight and last minute change gave us first class for the same # of miles. Woohoo!

Well she let me down as I fell one night and got a
concussion
and she didn't come yet had no excuse. I thought if she is carer for my mum then it is better to find out now she is unreliable. The one time I needed her to go to the doctor she wouldn't come to help me.

I was diagnosed with post

Concussion Story: At a extreme Rock Bottom, in crisis- reaching out
Really came a long way, then recently 2 weeks ago a extreme life change occurred and I got a
concussion
at my new job.. I am a complete broken record. I am extremely struggling with daily life. Has anyone experienced a complete reality change? That's something that's been my hardest struggle.

My story of long Term PCS symptoms + derealization
I had no clue about
concussion
, Pcs or anything. So I paid privately to see a neurologist, and he confirmed it was PCS that I was experiencing and hopefully over time things will improve.

How to truly forgive?
I'm also still recovering from a minor
concussion
that I believe makes my symptoms worse. I wanted to know how to truly forgive? I need to learn to TRULY LET THINGS GO AND FORGIVE. I'm in a constant battle, having flashbacks, getting upset, and going on and on about how people have wronged me.

Confidence getting out and about
I am terrified of having a secondary
concussion
; my first one was so freak, that I don't feel I can rule out another one. (It wasn't ruddy rugby - why is it always rugby?!) But I need to buy food, sometimes including on the days when I'm not really well enough to leave bed.

scared stiff about being referred to bowel specialist!
Knocked myself out, had brain bleed,
concussion
and a fractured right temporal bone. Came out of hospital unable to walk. I have taught myself to walk all be it wobbly. I have had digestive problems since it happened. I didn’t eat in hospital for close to 30 days.

Hi all. I have had concussion since August, after a fall when I banged my head. Although improving, I have a problem with bright light/glare
As above - I had a fall in August and banged my neck, chin. I am improving but can't deal with light (as in a bright sky), or glare. I also have difficulty when there is a lot of noise (as in grandchildren!). I can't wear earphones.... Does anyone know of research into coloured lenses and how certain

Trying to be positive
Car is totaled, and it triggered
concussion
symptoms from a
concussion
I got last April. I haven't been able to work since. I get lightheaded and off balance. Had some PTSD from the accident resulting in anxiety and getting nauseous and mildly freaking out if I had to drive.

Email from Soccer Coach
I just feel so deflated, that our son was singled out on an email, and then the coach sends me an email about his son is on
concussion
protocol, has to miss the state standardized tests and not be with his peers....blah blah.

Acceptance is a process
In April my
Concussion
was something I thought was temporary. If I pushed and worked at the recovery, like any past injuries that I have rehabilitated from, then I would be back to normal in a few months......

Post concussion syndrome
Most people think
concussion
is something that heals after a week or two and probably won't have heard of post
concussion
syndrome or really understand how it affects people. I found a PDF online which explained the symptoms and sent it to my employer.
