Four and a half years ago I had a
concussion
and I am still experiencing periods in which I have balance and coordination problems, fatigue, can't concentrate and am easily feeling overwhelmed.

Keeping Hope when Depression comes a knockin'
I just want to make a post saying:
Depression sucks! And.. you're not alone. It sure feels like it and it sure feels daunting.. But I know, I know... there is always hope somewhere... KEEP GOING. If you need it: 988: https://988lifeline.org/

University and Rehabilitation? (pcs, mtbi)
First, a little context; I am Joseph, I am 21 and I had a
concussion
(or mTBI) three years ago. I had used cannabis (a very rare occasion), and fallen down a step into an overhang.

Concussion to Suicidal, a scary thing!
Does anyone have any advice with depression and
concussion
? It's a deep and scary and terrifying battle. Why would a brain want to betray you? It's so exhausting and I'm keeping FAITH and HOPE and PERSERVERANCE.

Help with seeking diagnosis
No concern, no scans and no suspected
concussion
. Fast forward to Dec, was doing fine but slightly forgetful. January at heart failure clinic he mentioned this and had a CT scan which found no evidence of stroke. MRI requested and was found clear, no issues.

Neuro-physiotherapist
After a
concussion
more than four years ago left me with triple-p dizziness, someone suggested I see a neuro-physiotherapist experienced in balance problems. I had given up on the idea that there still may be scope for improvement in my symptoms, and assumed I would just have to live with them.

Sharp pains in head - lupus related or something else?
Hi all, I have general nerve pain in my head ever since I had
concussion
and whiplash seven years ago - so I'll get fibromyalgia shoulders and pains travelling up my scalp, particularly the right side. It's not that troublesome.

How to i get over my fear/depression and get to my job.
I suffered a
concussion
and in the following 2 weeks would pass out and vomit due to the extreme anxious and sick feeling in my stomach. I am still struggling and need coping skills. My doctor has put me on an antidepressant but i still feel defeated and don't want to go into my school to teach.

The NICE guidelines for diagnosis and rehabilitation of TBI of all types have been updated. Good news and bad news.
Nice have recognized that there is a distinct lack of research into '
concussion
' 'mTBI' 'PCS' and have recommended further research to develop diagnostic protocols because currently there are none. https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng232/chapter/Recommendations-for-research The bad news!

Crazy travel - covid, concussion, tachycardia.
Where I promptly got hit by a huge wooden door and have had quite a
concussion
. And that sent me into tachycardia for several hours after the “collision” with the door. We ended up staying in Finland for an extra week, until I was a little less wobbly.

CONCUSSION - HELP - ADVICE PLEASE
Hi All, A week ago someone hit a phone over my head (by accident )- I have this bruise/bump on my forehead - I started to have severe headaches and a terrible pressure in my head. I took paracetamol and that didn't help. I went to A&E 4 days later - the CT scan showed no bleeds, fractures etc.

anxious
I have this fear of getting a
concussion
because I don’t want to throw up, and I’m scared that I have one. I hit it kind of hard. There it a little scrape/mark. My head hurts a little but only in the spot where the cabinet nicked me. I don’t know how to stop myself from spiraling.
