I am cutting and pasting from the FB. FTPO T3 only page. I apologize if this is not ok. Too unwell to redo. This gives some history and will post latest labs / meds at the end. Thanks in advance for ANY feedback / encouragement. I am 50 year old mother of three children. At age 32, I had an elevated

ADHD meds making it difficult for my daughter to play sports
My 12 year old daughter was just diagnosed with ADHD. She started uncharacteristically acting out and her grades were all over the place. After being diagnosed the Dr has put her on concerta 56 mg. It is like night and day and she feels so much better. Unfortunately, she plays sports and her heart rate

Alternative medicine
My son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 6 and is now 10. I have got to the point where I really don't want to keep pumping my son with drugs every day (he is on slow release Concerta 27mg), how do other parents feel? have any of you tried homeopathic treatments and have they worked?

Should we change schools
I have a son in a parochial school. He is on the lowest dose of Concerta, unfortunately the school knows this and I found out they have been asking him if he's taken his medication. I told them to never, ever, under any circumstances ask him that question again. They didn't listen, in fact they are very

What should I do?
I was diagnosed when I was younger with ADD, but it was never treated. When I turned 18 I decided to take meds. I started on the low dose (18mg) of Concerta, but recently they upped my dose to 36mg. Now when I take them I feel ill. I'm dizzy and feel like vomiting. My doctor told me that the meds were

New here - Grandson has ADHD
Hello, My husband and I are guardians of our 9-year-old grandson, who was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 4. We love him and are thankful for him, but he has been quite a handful for us. He is in 3rd grade this year and we have just started him back on his medication. He takes the generic form of Concerta

Please help-ADHD medication
My 6 year old son was diagnosed in April with ADHD. At the time he was in a level 4 public school (not good) with 30 kids in his kindergarten class with only one part time para. They said he was doing "ok" and "just needed some extra reminders for behavior and listening". I knew he was hiding and not

Stuck in the IN Between
Hi I'm a 24 year old male. I've been on Medication for ADHD since I was in third grade. It has not been an easy road. When I say IN between I'm no longer a child but I don't feel like an adult. I have a few more credits until I get my degree. I want to move on but I have no desire, I'm stuck. I few

Medication for my RLS.....
I've suffered for 10 years. After years of restless nights and visits to the Drs I was reffered to the hospital. After many visits I've been prescribed Requip XL 2mg. I take this 2 hours before bedtime. If I'm late taking it I can suffer all night. My legs feel like they are crawling with 1000 spiders

Methylphenidate (Ritalin) and the diagnosis game
Hello everyone :) I'm about to try and get methylphenidate (Ritalin in the US, Concerta in the UK) on the NHS. I'm in a weird position, because they refuse to believe my brain injury is real. The official diagnosis is "medically unexplained symptoms", which in treatment terms gets you zilch. I'm going
