Cause of rectal bleeding
Colonoscopy recommended by GI dr for substantial rectal bleeding for 2+ months. Completed EBRT 12 months ago. Suspect radiation proctitis. I’m concerned that invasive procedure could cause additional problems. Using prescription suppository (hydrocortisone acetate 25mg) twice daily. Is colonoscopy

Internal hemmroids
I'm 31 I had a colonoscopy when I was 18. Because of blood in stool. Came back I had internal hemmoriods and sometimes they still bother me and bleed I had a lot of blood the other day but I did strain knowing I shouldn't have and had a large stool. Should I have another colonoscopy or would it still

Still can't get a colonoscopy and blood was found in stool when I had a DRE. What should I do?
I'm now suffering from even more anxiety than I was before about the multitude of symptoms I've experienced since August of 2019. Because while I still can't get a colonoscopy at the present moment because I do have a physical obstruction that, unfortunately, would make it very hard for me to be able

Night sweats and worried.
44 year old male here. Having drenching night sweats. MRI, CT scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy blood work came back clean but I'm freaking out. Neck pain, night sweats, and stomach pain. Googling it brings up the C word. I called my doctor but they aren't as scared as me. I'm ready to go to the ER. Please

Second opinion? Calprotectin levels.
My recent colonoscopy showed inflammation only in my rectum. I’ve had bleeding since beginning of December which is what prompted my testing. I have no pain . Just occasional urgency. My symptoms have actually subsided all last week. However, I’ve been under stress since my results yesterday and stomach

I'm convinced it's bowel cancer and I'm going to die.
I posted here recently about my very high calprotectin level. I'm absolutely terrified and I cannot function. I am convinced that I have bowel cancer and I can't cope. Brief history below: Jan 2017: Referred to gastro as noticed blood in stool and calprotectin was almost 200. I delayed a colonoscopy

Mesalamine suppositories
Hi! I just underwent full colonoscopy and was diagnosed with mild proctitis ( only symptom prior was rectal bleeding with bowel movement) and I was prescribed mesalamine suppositories. My bowel movements have had way less bright red blood which was my main symptom before - but now smell very strange,

They’ve arranged a
colposcopy
to deal with the cervix in a couple of weeks but I just feel like it’s so much information to process! Has anyone had a septated uterus and if so did you get surgery to fix it? He’s suggested in the future to get the septum removed to help with fertility!

PCOS and pregnancy
I’m awaiting
colposcopy
for another symptom and until this is done at end of December I can’t start any form of fertility medication. Has anybody started ovulating since being told they can’t? I also 4 days into starting myo-inositol 40:1 as a supplement.

Calprotectin >2000 (second time in 3 years). No diagnosis yet
Hi. I have had IBS symptoms for 14 years, but 3 years ago, after multiple GP visits due to dirrahea and occasional blood in stool, I was offered a calprotectin test. The result of this was >250, so I was referred to gastroenterology. I then did the test again and the result was >2000. I was referred

Salvage Radiation
What is the best dose? I consulted with two RO's last year, one used 68 or 70 gray the other 72 gray. I am due for a colonoscopy next year, is this safe after radiation? I planned on taking my family to Universal Studios later this year if pandemic subsides could this cause additional issues from the

Anyone here have a heart issue before transplant? In testing they found I have AFIB but have been cleared for transplant. One more test to go a colonoscopy. A few more immunizations.🙏🏻

Hi, I’ve suffered with ins for a long time now, been for tests etc and all clear although the last colonoscopy I had they removed quite a few pollops. I would say since then (a couple of years) I’ve really struggled with it. I’ve tried tweaking diet but only to find that what’s good one week isn’t good
